Zumba, a Latin dance-based form of fitness in its 10th year, is more popular than ever. The Chakaboom Fitness class at Franconia’s fire station is full of folks getting their sweat on.
Hundreds of participants join popular Zumba instructors Leonardo Lins, second from right, and Roberson Magalhaes, second from left, both from Brasil, for an hour-long Zumba workout at the Franconia fire station July 14. Zumba is an aerobic workout that focuses its exercise movements on Latin moves and rhythms. Many participants have left their gyms to join Lins and Magalhaes.
