GAMBRILLS AREA

ROBBERY

Brandermill Blvd., 2300 block, 1:45 p.m. Sept. 22. A male shoplifted several cellphones at a mobile phone store and punched an employee who confronted him. A group of customers chased him out of the store. He fled in a white station wagon occupied by a male passenger. A customer was hit by the vehicle and suffered minor injuries.

GLEN BURNIE AREA

SHOOTING

Hospital Dr., 300 block, 1:04 a.m. Sept. 24. A gunman got out of a pickup truck at a gas station and shot a male passenger in another vehicle. The gunman fled in his truck. The injured man was taken to a hospital in critical but stable condition. Detectives think the incident was drug-related.

ROBBERIES

Aquahart Road and B&a Trail, 4:48 p.m. Sept. 25. Three males surrounded a man on a bike and took the bike.

Saunders Way and Ingalls Road, 6:30 p.m. Sept. 25. During a basketball game, two men and a woman assaulted and robbed a man of a cellphone. The three fled in a white vehicle.

W. Ordnance near Shelly Rd., 11 p.m. Sept. 24. A woman stopped her vehicle on the shoulder to wait for friends in another vehicle. A Toyota Solara pulled up and a man got out and put a metal object to her head. Another male opened the passenger door, emptied the woman’s purse on the seat and took property. The two males fled in the Solara with a third male.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Ritchie Hwy., 7100 block, 6:10 p.m. Sept. 22. A man entered a car dealership lot through a hole in a fence and took scrap metal. A Pasadena man, 41, was arrested.

Warwickshire Lane, 100 block, 12:38 p.m. Sept. 22. Three males attempted to force entry into an apartment and fled when a resident saw them. A Baltimore man, 19, was arrested. He was carrying more than six grams of marijuana divided into 10 plastic bags. He was wanted for robbery in Baltimore City at the time of the arrest.

HANOVER AREA

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Arundel Mills Cir., 7000 block, 2:01 p.m. Sept. 24. A male carrying a plastic bag entered a jewelry store. He took a hammer out of the bag and smashed a watch display case, fleeing with three watches. He met another male outside and they ran to the parking lot.

DAVIDSONVILLE/HARWOOD AREA

VANDALISM

Patuxent Manor Rd., 1500 block, 1:03 a.m. Sept. 26. Explosives were used to damage mailboxes on Patuxent Manor Road in Davidsonville and near the intersection of Harwood and Ivy drives in Harwood. Police stopped a gray Toyota. The driver, a 17-year-old male from Davidsonville, was charged as a juvenile with DUI, possession of marijuana, possession of fireworks without a permit, and two counts each of manufacturing, possessing and use of a destructive device. The three other occupants, two 19-year-old males and an 18-year-old male, all of Davidsonville, were charged with possession of marijuana, possession of fireworks without a permit, two counts of manufacturing a destructive device, two counts of possessing a destructive device and two counts of the use of a destructive device. One was charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance.

ODENTON AREA

ATTEMPTED HOMICIDE

Cadbury Dr., 600 block, 9:47 p.m. Sept. 23. A male shot at a residence occupied by a family of five and fled in a car. A window fragment hit an infant, who was treated at the scene for minor injuries. Detectives think the incident was not random.

PASADENA AREA

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Pleasantview Ave., 500 block, 1:45 a.m. Sept. 23. A truck owner saw two males inside his truck. Two Pasadena men, 19 and 24, were arrested in possession of several stolen items. They were charged with theft and related offenses.

ROBBERIES

Bay Ridge Rd., 900 block, 9 p.m. Sept. 22. A gunman wearing a Halloween mask robbed a convenience store of cash and fled on foot.

Forest Dr., 1600 block, 6:10 p.m. Sept. 22. A man grabbed a bicyclist’s bike, punched him in the face and took cash from his pockets. A Davidsonville man, 24, was arrested and charged with robbery, second-degree assault and theft.

Frederick Douglas St., 1100 block, 10:50 p.m. Sept. 24. A masked man grabbed a male pedestrian from behind while another masked gunman took the pedestrian’s boots, socks, shorts and wallet. The men fled on foot toward President Street.

Amberstone Ct., 1-99 block, 8:45 p.m. Sept. 23 to 6:40 a.m. Sept. 24. A lock was cut and two bicycles were stolen from a residential back yard.

Atwater Dr., 300 block, 11:15 p.m. Sept.18 to 10:20 a.m. Sept. 19. Prescription medicine was stolen from an unlocked vehicle.

Belle Dr., 1700 block, 12:01 p.m. Sept. 18 to 1:30 a.m. Sept. 21. A handgun was stolen from an unlocked vehicle.

Blackwell Rd., 1000 block, 8:30 p.m. Sept. 20 to 11 a.m. Sept. 21. A laptop computer, a digital camera, a laser tape measure and two bags of clothing were stolen from an unlocked vehicle.

Glenwood St., 700 block, 5 p.m. Sept. 23 to 3:30 p.m. Sept. 24. Locks were cut and two bikes were stolen from a rack behind an apartment building.

President St., 900 block, 8:30 to 11:15 p.m. Sept. 17. A wallet was stolen from an apartment entered by ripping a screen and breaking a window.

Silopanna Rd., 100 block, 5:15 to 10 p.m. Sept. 21. A laptop computer and jewelry were stolen from a home entered by forcing a door.

Taylor Ave., 600 block, 10:30 p.m. Sept. 18 to 4:50 a.m. Sept. 19. A cash register was stolen from a business entered by breaking a glass front door.

West St., 900 block, 2:15 to 3:15 p.m. Sept. 23. An unlocked bike was stolen from behind a building.

West St., 1900 block, 8:30 p.m. Sept. 24 to 7:30 a.m. Sept. 25. Parts were stolen from vehicles on a body shop lot. An air bag and steering wheel were stolen from a Ford Mustang, wheels were stolen from a Honda Odyssey and a Nissan Murano, and an air bag and front wheels were stolen from a locked Toyota Scion. The Toyota’s window was broken. The other vehicles were unlocked.

MOTOR VEHICLE THEFTS

Compromise St., 1-99 block, 3:15 a.m. Sept. 21. A man and woman pushed a black 2009 Yamaha scooter out of a business parking lot. The scooter was recovered behind the 1100 block of Frederick Douglass Street. The ignition was damaged.

ROBBERIES

Cloudleap Ct., 8700 block, 9:10 p.m. Sept. 24. Two masked males entered a pizza business and took cash from the register at gunpoint. They fled on foot toward a high school.

Tamar Drive Near Hayshed Lane, 7:30 p.m. Sept. 23. Two males punched a male in the face at a bus stop and robbed him of his wallet.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Durham Rd. E., 5000 block, 10 a.m. to 6:10 p.m. Sept. 25. A home was entered by forcing open a rear sliding door. Several cabinets were opened but nothing was reported missing.

Durham Rd. E., 5100 block, 8:45 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sept. 25. Pry marks were found on a rear French door.

Eliots Oak Rd., 5000 block, Sept. 18 to 23. Jewelry boxes were stolen from a home. There was no sign of forced entry.

Greystone Lane, 8400 block, 10:30 p.m. Sept. 22 to 10:30 p.m. Sept. 23. A laptop computer was stolen from a home. There was no sign of forced entry.

Hayshed Lane, 8600 block, 1:17 p.m. Sept. 22. Three males were seen taking a bike from a garage. Two juveniles were arrested.

Minstrel Way, 7100 block, 3:12 a.m. Sept. 21. Hair-care products were stolen from a drawer at a beauty-supply store entered by breaking a glass front door with a rock.

MOTOR VEHICLE THEFTS

Columbia Rd., 4900 block, 1:48 a.m. Sept. 24. A black 2012 Suzuki GSXR 600 and a red and black 2008 Honda CBR-600 were stolen.

McGaw Court and S. Hanover Road, 11:25 p.m. Sept. 21. A white Freightliner truck cab was stolen.

Washington Blvd., 5800 block, 8:34 p.m. Sept. 23. A male threatened a female with a knife at a gas station and took her wallet.

Baltimore National Pike, 9400 block, 4:56 a.m. Sept. 24. Cellphones were stolen from a phone store entered by smashing a piece of wood that was covering broken glass. An alarm was activated.

Hobsons Choice Lane, 10100 block, 5 p.m. Sept. 18 to 1 p.m. Sept. 21. A residence was entered by breaking glass in a door. Nothing was reported missing.

Montgomery Rd., 5500 block, 11:48 a.m. Sept. 23. Property was stolen from a shed.

Town & Country Blvd., 5:13 a.m. Sept. 21. A male entered an apartment by cutting a window screen. He woke a girl sleeping on a sofa by touching her inappropriately. He fled with a laptop computer and cellphone.

Town & Country Blvd., 7:10 a.m. Sept. 21. A vacant apartment was entered. A youth discovered inside said he had found the rear sliding door unlocked.

JESSUP AREA

ROBBERY

Washington Blvd., 8200 block, 3:35 to 3:40 p.m. Sept. 21. A red sedan stopped behind a woman pulled over in her vehicle. A male passenger got out of the sedan and grabbed the woman’s purse.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Quiet Water Way, 10100 block, 2:45 to 3:15 p.m. Sept. 25. A bike was stolen from an unlocked residential garage.

MOTOR VEHICLE THEFTS

Patuxent Range Rd.,8200 block, 8:03 a.m. Sept. 23. A white 2013 International box truck was stolen.

LAUREL AREA

ASSAULTS

Sand Cherry Lane, 8300 block, 3:45 a.m. Sept. 25. A woman called police from a hospital to report she had been assaulted by a male acquaintance while visiting his home. The man beat her face and body, threatened to kill her and ordered her not to leave the house. The woman escaped and contacted a friend who took her to the hospital. A Laurel man, 19, was arrested and charged with assault and false imprisonment.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Fairview Ave., 9400 block, 5:07 p.m. Sept. 25. Two TVs, jewelry and a video game console were stolen from a residence. There was no sign of forced entry.

Washington Blvd., 10000 block, 6 p.m. Sept. 21 to 8:30 a.m. Sept. 23. An automotive business yard was entered by cutting a fence. Nothing was reported missing.

MOTOR VEHICLE THEFTS

Washington Blvd., 9500 block, 10:34 p.m. Sept. 22. A silver 2000 BMW 323 was stolen.
