Alexandria resident, 92, killed by car

A 92-year-old Alexandria resident was killed by a car backing out of a driveway Sunday evening, police said Monday.

Suzanne Kominski was walking with her husband along the 1200 block of Key Drive when a car pulling out of a driveway struck her, according to police. She was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries, where she was pronounced dead a few hours later.
