ROBBERIES
Sixth and Cross streets, 4 p.m. May 27. A man got out of a green vehicle and threatened a male pedestrian. After a struggle, the assailant fled in the vehicle with a pack of cigarettes taken from the pedestrian, who was stabbed with a box cutter during the incident. He was taken to a hospital.
GLEN BURNIE AREA
ASSAULTS
Highland Dr., 300 block, 10 p.m. May 26. During an argument in an apartment, a man stabbed a female acquaintance and her adult son with a kitchen knife. An Annapolis man, 44, was arrested at the scene. Charges included two counts of attempted second-degree murder, first- and second-degree assault, reckless endangerment, disorderly conduct and failure to obey a lawful order. The injured people were taken to a hospital. Also arrested shortly after the incident was an acquaintance of the woman and son, a 19-year-old Glen Burnie man. Police alleged that he had discharged a weapon nearby. Charges included first- and second-degree assault, disorderly conduct, reckless endangerment and handgun violations.

Andrew Ct., 3400 block, 11:58 p.m. May 26. Three males robbed two men of a cellphone and a wallet at gunpoint.

ROBBERIES
Bywater Rd., 600 block, 10 p.m. May 24. A man robbed a pedestrian of his backpack at gunpoint, then fled with a male accomplice.
Conduit and Gorman streets, 11:59 p.m. May 30. A man attacked a pedestrian, knocking him to the ground. The pedestrian said that his wallet had been stolen while he was unconscious.
Marda Lane, 1200 block, 1 a.m. May 27. A man grabbed a purse from a woman standing in front of a residence and talking on a phone.
ASSAULTS
Main St., 100 block, 1:30 a.m. May 24. During a fight, a man pushed a male through a window. A Crofton man, 23, was charged with first- and second-degree assault, reckless endangerment and destruction of property. The male received treatment for wounds to an arm.
THEFTS/BREAK-INS
Bay Ridge Ave., 900 block, 4 p.m. May 24 to 1:30 p.m. May 29. A business was entered by breaking glass in a back door. Nothing was reported missing.
Cedar Ridge Ct., 1000 block, 12:30 to 8 a.m. May 25. A backpack was stolen from a vehicle entered by breaking a window. The backpack later was recovered in the 800 block of Janice Drive. Cash had been removed.
Copeland St., 1900 block, 4 to 6 p.m. May 26. A purse was stolen from an unlocked vehicle.
Dewey Dr., 500 block, May 1 to 16. A Jeep bicycle was stolen from a back yard.
