Body of man found in Herndon creek

The body of an adult man was found in a creek in Herndon on Friday morning, but police said they have found no indication so far that he died as the result of foul play.

Neighbors reported the body about 8 a.m. in a creek near the corner of Center and Locust streets, said Herndon police spokesman Lt. Jim Moore. Investigators are still working to determine the man’s identity.
