D.C. police investigate Southeast homicide of 25-year-old man

A 25-year-old man was found dead after he was shot multiple times in Southeast shortly after midnight on Saturday, D.C. police said.

Emergency personnel found Anthony Williams dead on the scene in the 200 block of Savannah Street, S.E. after they received a 911 call reporting a shooting. Potential suspects and motives remain unknown, police spokesman Hugh Carew said Saturday morning.

Police are offering a reward of up to $25,000 for information regarding the homicide. Anyone with information about the case can call police at 202-727-9009 or can submit anonymous information to the department’s text tip line by texting 50411.
