D.C. police searching for suspect in S.E. shooting

A man was shot and killed Sunday near Fort Stanton Park in Southeast Washington, D.C. police said.

The shooting occurred around 2 p.m. in the 2400 block of 24th Street SE, police said.

No name was available and no motive could be learned immediately.

Police said the suspect was described as a black male, about five feet six inches tall, about 130 pounds and wearing blue jeans and a black coat. They said he may have been in a white car with a black door.
