D.C. police seek help finding men in robbery, sexual assault of woman in Adams Morgan

D.C. police are seeking the public’s help in identifying the men who early Sunday dragged a woman into an alley in Northwest Washington’s Adams Morgan neighborhood and robbed and sexually assaulted her.

Authorities said they had few clues other than that four men and two women initially confronted the woman about 5:45 a.m. in the 2400 block of Ontario Road NW. Head of the criminal investigation division, Cmdr. George Kucik, said the women departed, and the men then forced the victim into the alley. He said two of the men sexually assaulted her.

Kucik said the woman was unable to provide a detailed description of her attackers. She could only say that one had dreadlocks and the other had short hair. Kucik did say that they are looking for a black Ford-150 truck in connection with the incident.

“We’re asking for people’s help,” Kucik said on Tuesday. “We don’t have a lot of information. Maybe somebody saw these people hanging out.”

The attack occurred between Kalorama and Euclid streets in a residential neighborhood near the main strip of bars and restaurants in the entertainment district.

The vehicle of interest is described as a black, Ford F-150 four-door truck (D.C. police)

Anyone with information is urged to call D.C. police at 202-727-9099 or text the department’s tip line at 50411. A reward of up to $1,000 is being offered for tips leading to an arrest and conviction.
