Four people shot in argument in D.C., none fatally

Four people were injured in a shooting in Northeast D.C. early Sunday morning, police said.

Officer Paul Metcalf, a D.C. police spokesman, said that an argument broke out in the unit block of M Street NE at around 3 a.m. One participant had a handgun, and four people were shot.

Two adult men were arrested. Metcalf said the suspects’ names had not been confirmed.

All four victims were conscious and breathing when police arrived on the scene, Metcalf said.
