A Montgomery County transit bus driver was charged with two counts of fourth-degree sex offense, police said Wednesday, for allegedly inviting a woman into his parked bus to escape the cold and then inappropriately touching her.
Rigoberto Adonay Galindo Lemus, 47, of Buehler Court, Olney, was arrested and released on his own recognizance earlier this month, according to police. Authorities say that on Dec. 12, the victim had been walking along Somerville Drive near the Shady Grove Metro station when she passed an out-of-service Ride On bus. The driver, Lemus, spoke to her and invited her on to the bus to stay warm, police said. The victim boarded the bus.
