Police arrest D.C. man in May stabbing death

D.C. police arrested a 28-year-old man Wednesday on a charge that he fatally stabbed another Southeast Washington man in the Fort Dupont area in mid-May, officials said.

Authorities charged Allen Thomas, of Southeast, with second-degree murder while armed in the May 13 killing of Elike Rahmon Richardson, 36.

Last month, police went to the 4400 block of C Street SE for the report of an aggravated assault and found Richardson suffering from stab wounds.
