Police ID man found dead on edge of Capital Beltway as Honorio Nava-Paredes

December 19, 2013

Montgomery County police on Thursday identified the man whose body was found along the Capital Beltway as Honorio Nava-Paredes, 31, of the 1100 block of Massachusetts Avenue in Washington D.C.

An autopsy has been conducted by Maryland’s state medical examiner, but doctors haven’t ruled on the cause of death, police said. A complete autopsy report, including toxicology test results, could still be weeks away, said Angela Cruz, a Montgomery police spokeswoman.

On Tuesday, authorities received a report of a body in a grassy area off the side of the inner loop of the Beltway, between George Avenue and Colesville Road. Police said that anyone with information about this case can call 240-773-5030 or can submit anonymous information by calling 1-866-411-TIPS.
