Police in Md., Va. make arrests in two separate vehicle incidents

On Tuesday, police in one suburb saw a naked man jump out of a car, leading to two arrests. On Thursday, police in another suburb followed a car and arrested its driver after he hid for hours, authorities said.

In Thursday’s incident, in the Manassas area of Prince William County, a Manassas city officer tried to stop a car linked to a homicide investigation in Pennsylvania, county police said. The driver eventually fled on foot and went into a house. The occupants of the house tried to calm him until they could leave, allowing police to make an arrest, authorities said.

In Tuesday’s incident, Laurel police learned that the naked man had been kidnapped. After he escaped from the vehicle, the car crashed and the two men who were in it were arrested, police said.
