Montgomery County police released surveillance photographs Monday of a bank robbery suspect in hopes that someone might recognize him.

Just before 2 p.m. Thursday, the suspect entered a branch of M&T Bank in downtown Bethesda near the corner of Norfolk and Cordell avenues. He approached a teller, made threats and demanded money, police said. He never displayed a weapon and fled with cash, according to police.

Anyone with information regarding the suspect’s identity can call Crime Solvers of Montgomery County at 866-411-TIPS (8477) , and could be eligible for a reward of up to $10,000, police said. Callers may remain anonymous.
