Two men shot, wounded in Annapolis Sunday

Two men were found shot and wounded in Annapolis on Sunday afternoon, the city police said.

They said one man was found in a car on Forest Drive, and the other at a fire station on Bay Ridge Avenue. Both were taken to the Maryland Shock Trauma center in Baltimore.

The victims were found after police received a shooting report from Bens Drive about 4:30 p.m., authorities said. When officers reached the scene, both men had left, police said. The neighborhood is about two miles south of the Statehouse.

Police said the matter remained under investigation Sunday night.
