Dog left in the cold: Decatur St. NW, 400 block, Feb. 11. A pit bull was found chained to a porch without shelter and was impounded.
Dog chained indoors: Stanton Rd. SE, 2900 block, Feb. 10. An underweight boxer was found tethered inside an apartment and was impounded.
Owner leaves cat: First St. SE, 3700 block, Feb. 13. A cat was abandoned outside.
Adoptable cat: Georgia Ave. NW, 7300 block, Nov. 17. A 5-year-old cat that was left by a family that moved was taken to the shelter.

Free monthly clinic: Oglethorpe St. NW, unit block, Feb. 13. The league’s medical center spayed and neutered 13 pit bulls.
