ROBBERIES

Benning Rd., 1900 block, 9:04 p.m. Nov. 18. A man and two male teenagers approached a pedestrian from behind, then robbed him of a wallet and eyeglasses.

Benning Rd., 2400 block, 4:36 p.m. Nov. 20. Two males threatened a pedestrian and robbed him of a cellphone.

Benning Rd., 3900 block, 2:12 p.m. Nov. 18. Two males got out of a vehicle and robbed two pedestrians at gunpoint.

Eads St., 5400 block, 8:57 p.m. Nov. 17. Four males got out of a silver Dodge Intrepid and robbed two pedestrians at gunpoint.

Farragut Pl., 1200 block, 12:06 a.m. Nov. 19. Two males threatened a motorist who had just parked a BMW 745Li, then took keys from her hand and fled in the vehicle.

Florida Ave., unit block, 6 a.m. Nov. 15. A group of four males threatened and robbed a man at gunpoint.

Gales St., 1600 block, 1:55 a.m. Nov. 18. A male wearing a ski mask approached a male from behind, then robbed him of a wallet and keys at gunpoint.

Gault Pl., 4000 block, 10 a.m. Nov. 15. A male teenager approached a female from behind as she was doing work outside her residence, then snatched an iPhone and a bracelet from her and ran away.

North Capitol St. and Quincy Pl., 5:29 p.m. Nov. 20. Three males attacked a pedestrian from behind, knocking him to the ground, then fled with property. The victim was taken to a hospital for treatment of injuries to his lip and forehead.

Southern Ave., 6200 block, 7:35 p.m. Nov. 18. Two males approached a pedestrian from behind, then robbed her of a purse and a cellphone.

Trinidad Ave., 1400 block, 8 p.m. Nov. 15. Two males with their faces covered robbed two female pedestrians of purses at gunpoint.

Sixth and H streets, 11:15 p.m. Nov. 19. A male waiting for a bus was knocked to the ground by a male who rode away on the victim’s bicycle. An arrest was made a short time later. The bike was recovered.

Eighth and Edgewood streets, 1:05 p.m. Nov. 17. A group of three males on a bike trail pushed a male from his bike, robbed him of property and fled on foot.

15th St., 700 block, 7:11 a.m. Nov. 18. A motorist stopped his vehicle and started a conversation with a pedestrian, who reached into the vehicle and grabbed a cellphone, then ran away.

16th and Rosedale streets, 1:20 a.m. Nov. 16. Two men approached two male pedestrians from behind, then robbed them of cellphones and wallets at gunpoint. Both victims were taken to hospitals for treatment of minor injuries.

44th St., 400 block, 9:15 p.m. Nov. 20. A male robbed a male pedestrian at gunpoint.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Eads St., 5900 block, 7 to 8 p.m. Nov. 19. A power sander was among property stolen from a residence entered by forcing a door.

Gallaudet St., 1900 block, 7 to 4:30 p.m. Nov. 16. Property was stolen from a vacant location entered by damaging a second-story window.

Grant St., 4000 block, 7:10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Nov. 16. Property was stolen from an apartment. There was no sign of forced entry.

Hamlin St., 600 block, 4:30 p.m. to 6:15 a.m. Nov. 20. Property was stolen from trailers entered by force at a construction site.

Newton St., 1800 block, 10:14 a.m. Nov. 16 and 4:20 p.m. Nov. 16. Property was stolen from a residence. There was no sign of forced entry.

Oates St., 1200 block, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Nov. 19. Property was stolen from a residence. There was no sign of forced entry.

Orren St., 1100 block, 2:30 p.m. Oct. 22 and 2:45 p.m. Nov. 18. A laptop computer and a watch were stolen from a residence entered through a basement door.

Fourth St., 700 block, 6 p.m. Nov. 17 to 7 a.m. Nov. 19. Tools were stolen from a location entered by removing plywood that had been covering a rear window.

12th St., 5200 block, 10:50 a.m. Nov. 17. A silver watch, an iPod, a gold chain and cash were stolen from a residence entered by kicking in the front door. A person returning to the home confronted a man, who then fled the premises. A 20-year-old man found in possession of the stolen property was arrested a short time later

13th St., 900 block, 9:53 a.m. Nov. 18. A laptop computer was stolen from a residence entered through an unlocked kitchen window.

21st St., 200 block, 1:47 p.m. Nov. 19. Property was stolen from a residence entered by kicking in the front door.

ROBBERIES

Blair Rd., 5900 block, 11 p.m. Nov. 19. A male walking to his vehicle after using an ATM machine was robbed of cash and keys at gunpoint. Two males, both wearing ski masks fled in the victim’s vehicle.

Calvert St., 1900 block, 3:55 a.m. Nov. 18. A group of males threatened a pedestrian and robbed him of a cellphone and an iPad. Three arrests were made a short time later at the west end of the Calvert Street bridge.

Georgia Ave., 2200 block, 1:12 a.m Nov. 18. Two males approached a motorist getting out of a vehicle and robbed him of the vehicle at gunpoint. The vehicle was recovered that day in Hyattsville.

Georgia Ave. and Rittenhouse St., 2:20 p.m. Nov. 15. A person robbed a man sitting in a vehicle of cash, a cellphone and cigarettes at gunpoint.

Hamilton St., 1300 block, 8:10 a.m. Nov. 16. A person pushed a pedestrian to the ground and robbed her of property.

Hanover Pl., unit block, 9:50 p.m. Nov. 14. A man in an alley robbed a person at gunpoint and fled with several accomplices.

K St., 1800 block, 2:14 p.m. Nov. 16. Two people bumped a pedestrian and robbed him of property from his pocket.

Kennedy St., 800 block, 6 p.m. Nov. 15. Two men robbed a male pedestrian at gunpoint.

Mount Pleasant St., 3100 block, 6:10 p.m. Nov. 15. A male on a bicycle robbed a pedestrian of her cellphone.

New Hampshire Ave., 5400 block, 7:53 a.m. Nov. 19. A man asked a service-station employee to show him something that was in a locked case, then forced the employee back behind the counter and robbed the business of cash at gunpoint.

Newport Pl., 2100 block, 3 a.m. Nov. 17. Two people threatened a pedestrian and robbed her of a cellphone.

Ontario Rd., 2400 block, 11:20 p.m. Nov. 17. A male approached a pedestrian from behind and tried to rob her of a cellphone. After a brief struggle, he fled empty-handed. An arrest was made 40 minutes later in the 2200 block of Ontario Road.

Q St., 1500 block, 7:35 p.m. Nov. 20. Two men approached a pedestrian from behind, then snatched property from her and fled on bicycles.

V St., 1400 block, 3:30 p.m. Nov. 17. A male teenager threatened and robbed a female pedestrian.

Wisconsin Ave., 1800 block, 6:22 p.m. Nov. 17. Two men bumped a pedestrian and robbed him of property from his back pocket.

Third St., 1900 block, 11:15 p.m. Nov. 20. A man approached a pedestrian from behind and robbed him of his wallet at gunpoint.

Fifth St., 5200 block, 2:14 p.m. Nov. 17. A man followed a man who had just parked a vehicle, then forced him into an alley at gunpoint and robbed him of a cellphone.

Sixth and T streets, 8:45 a.m. Nov. 19. A man snatched a cellphone from a pedestrian’s hand. She chased him and saw him pass the phone to a male accomplice near Sixth and U streets.

Seventh St., 700 block, 3:30 p.m. Nov. 18. A male approached a pedestrian from behind and robbed her of property from her hand.

Seventh St., 900 block, 1:11 p.m. Nov. 17. A man robbed a bank after passing a threatening note to a teller.

Seventh and H streets, 11:41 p.m. Nov. 15. A male teenager asked a pedestrian about her shoes, then knocked her down and tried to removed the shoes. When a male passerby intervened, the assailant fled empty-handed. No injuries were reported.

13th St., 4000 block, 6:30 p.m. Nov. 19. A man followed a man into a residence, then robbed him at gunpoint of property from his pockets.

14th St., 2900 block, 7:30 a.m. Nov. 19. A person snatched a cellphone from a female pedestrian.

18th St., 2300 block, 11:18 p.m. Nov. 16. A person followed a male off of a bus, then snatched a cellphone from his jacket pocket and ran away.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Connecticut Ave., 2600 block, 8:30 p.m. Nov. 18 to 10:30 a.m. Nov. 19. A laptop computer, cash and security surveillance equipment were stolen from a restaurant entered by force.

Delafield Pl., 1300 block, 6:25 p.m. Nov. 15. Property was stolen from a residence entered through an unlocked basement door.

E St., unit block, 8:17 a.m. Nov. 20. Clothes, a watch and train tickets were taken from a residence entered through the front door. A returning occupant saw a man flee the premises through a bathroom window. An arrest was made a short time later.

K St., 1400 block, 5 p.m. Nov. 16 to 6 a.m. Nov. 19. Property was stolen from a location entered by forcing a door.

K St., 1400 block, 7 p.m. Nov. 16 to 12:45 p.m. Nov. 17. Property was stolen from a desk at a location entered by forcing a door.

New Hampshire Ave. 4800 block, 5:05 to 5:10 a.m. Nov. 19. Property was stolen from a residence entered through a bathroom window.

Rhode Island Ave., 1400 block, 11:30 a.m. Nov. 20. Property was stolen from an apartment entered through the unlocked front door.

Somerset Pl., 600 block, 10:05 a.m. Nov. 19. Property was stolen from a residence entered by kicking in a back door. At 2:05 p.m., an acquaintance of an occupant saw a person leaving the premises. At 2:30 p.m., an arrest was made. An iPod stolen from the home was recovered.

First St., 4900 block, 8:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Nov. 20. Property was stolen from a residence. There was no sign of forced entry.

Third St., 1500 block, 8:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Nov. 20. Property was stolen from a residence entered by breaking a kitchen window.

Fifth St., 1600 block, 9:50 a.m. to 4:10 p.m. Nov. 16. Property was stolen from a residence entered by forcing a back door.

Sixth St., 1500 block, noon to 2:28 p.m. Nov. 15. Property was stolen from a residence entered by forcing a side door.

Alabama Ave., 900 block, 10:34 p.m. Nov. 17. A male approached a pedestrian in an alley from behind and robbed her of property at gunpoint.

B St., 3600 block, 8:25 p.m. Nov. 18. A man followed a male into a residence, then robbed him of a wallet, a cellphone and an MP3 player at knifepoint.

Benning Rd., 4800 block, 11:20 a.m. Nov. 20. Two males demanded cash from a pedestrian at knifepoint, then fled empty-handed when he resisted.

Bowen Rd., 4500 block, 9:34 p.m. Nov. 16. A man in a parking lot robbed a motorist of cash and keys, then fled on foot. The keys were recovered on a nearby street.

C St., 600 block, 9:25 a.m. Nov. 19. A male threatened a woman walking near a bank, then robbed her of a bag.

Martin Luther King Jr. Ave., 3700 block, 3:56 p.m. Nov. 16. Three males approached a person at a bus stop, then robbed him of property from his pocket at knifepoint.

Pomeroy Rd., 2800 block, 8:44 p.m. Nov. 18. A male bumped a woman who had just gotten out of a vehicle, then fled with a handbag.

Southern Ave., 1000 block, 2 a.m. Nov. 17. A group of four people threatened a pedestrian and robbed him of a wallet.

Wayne Pl., 100 block, 6:20 p.m. Nov. 17. Three males forced a motorist from his vehicle at gunpoint, then fled in the vehicle.

First and F streets, 8:30 p.m. Nov. 15. Two people threatened and robbed a female pedestrian in a park.

Third St. and North Carolina Ave., 1:40 p.m. Nov. 18. Two males threatened a pedestrian and robbed her of a cellphone.

Sixth St., 3600 block, 5:05 p.m. Nov. 19. Two males robbed a pedestrian near a bus stop at gunpoint.

Eighth and G streets, 4:15 p.m. Nov. 20. A person snatched a cellphone from a female at a bus stop.

Ninth St., 3000 block, 9:22 p.m. Nov. 20. Two men approached a pedestrian in an alley from behind, then robbed him of cash, a cellphone and keys at gunpoint.

13th St., 3200 block, 9:45 p.m. Nov. 20. Two males robbed a male pedestrian at gunpoint.

14th St. and Good Hope Rd., 12:36 a.m. Nov. 17. A woman approached a pedestrian and, after engaging him in conversation, robbed him at gunpoint.

35th St., unit block, 8 a.m. to 7:45 p.m. Nov. 20. A residence was entered through a bedroom window. Property was moved around, but nothing was reported missing.

37th Pl., 200 block, 1:24 p.m. Nov. 20. Property was stolen from an apartment entered through a broken rear window.

ROBBERIES

Fourth St., 1400 block, 8:05 p.m. Nov. 19. A group of males threatened a pedestrian and demanded property. After being struck once in the face, the victim was followed for a short distance as he walked away. The assailants then fled empty-handed.

Galveston Pl., unit block, 11 a.m. to 7:50 p.m. Nov. 16. Property was stolen from an apartment entered by forcing the front door.

Galveston St., unit block, 7:20 p.m. Nov. 17. A TV and video game equipment were among property stolen from an apartment entered by forcing a bedroom window.

Ivanhoe St., 100 block, 7:15 a.m. Nov. 15 to 6:30 p.m. Nov. 18. Property was stolen from an apartment entered by forcing the front door.

Martin Luther King Jr. Ave., 4600 block, 9:05 to 9:40 p.m. Nov. 16. Property was stolen from a residence entered through the front door. There was no sign of forced entry; an occupant said that she had lost a set of keys on Nov. 15.

First Pl., 4000 block, 11:23 a.m. Nov. 20. Property was stolen from a residence entered by forcing a sliding-glass door.
