Northeast
HOMICIDES

Bladensburg Rd., 1100 block, 1:44 a.m. Dec. 22. Raymond Harris, 44, of Northwest Washington was found on the ground suffering from gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Another gunshot victim, Nathaniel Beasley Jr., 69, of Southeast Washington was found in a nearby vehicle. He was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead Dec. 23.

C St., 1200 block, 2:15 a.m. Dec. 24. Jason Anthony Emma, 28, of Northeast Washington was found in his vehicle with multiple gunshot wounds. Emma was pronounced dead at the scene.

Sixth Pl., 4400 block, 8:12 p.m. Dec. 20. Jermile Damon Davis, 24, of Southeast Washington was found inside a residence suffering from a gunshot wound. Davis was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

ROBBERIES

Benning Rd., 2400 block, 7:30 p.m. Dec. 23. A man snatched a cellphone from the hand of a man in a nightclub, then fled the premises.

Carlton Ave., 2900 block, 4 p.m. Dec. 24. A man hailed a cab, then robbed the driver at gunpoint when they reached this location.

Eads St., 3400 block, 8:40 p.m. Dec. 20. A man got out of a vehicle and robbed two pedestrians at gunpoint, then returned to the vehicle driven by an accomplice.

Holbrook Terr., 1200 block, 4 p.m. Dec. 21. A male argued with an acquaintance, then robbed him of a cellphone at gunpoint.

Jefferson St., 600 block, 11:41 p.m. Dec. 24. A man walked up to a vehicle and robbed the motorist and two passengers of cash and a cellphone at gunpoint.

Maryland Ave., 1400 block, 1:03 p.m. Dec. 25. A male robbed a convenience store at gunpoint.

Michigan Ave., 1900 block, 6:52 a.m. Dec. 22. Two men approached two males standing outside their workplace and forced them inside at gunpoint, then robbed the business of a safe containing cash and lottery tickets. The men fled in a blue pickup truck.

Michigan Ave. and Perry St., 7:14 p.m. Dec. 20. A group of males approached a pedestrian from behind, then robbed him of a hat and a watch.

Minnesota Ave., 4000 block, 6:41 p.m. Dec. 24. Two males robbed a male pedestrian of cash at gunpoint. One arrest was made a short time later.

Montello Ave., 1600 block, 9:18 p.m. Dec. 22. A gunman robbed a man making a delivery of food.

Mount Olivet Rd., 1200 block, 3:42 p.m. Dec. 21. A man who implied that he had a gun robbed a male pedestrian of cash.

Nannie Helen Burroughs Ave., 5200 block, 5:23 a.m. Dec. 22. A male approached a pedestrian from behind and knocked her to the ground, then fled with property.

New York Ave., unit block, 2:55 a.m. Dec. 22. Three males robbed a man as he was leaving a restaurant. All three were arrested a short time later.

Rhode Island Ave., 800 block, 3:38 p.m. Dec. 24. A man wearing a mask who implied that he had a weapon robbed a pedestrian of his cellphone. A short time later, an arrest was made.

Washington Pl., 2300 block, 1 a.m. Dec. 22. Two males approached a pedestrian from behind and knocked him to the ground, then fled with his wallet.

Webster St., unit block, 11:30 p.m. Dec. 24. Two males robbed a motorist of his wallet and keys to his vehicle at gunpoint, then drove away in the victim’s silver Dodge Intrepid.

West Virginia Ave., 1800 block, 12:56 p.m. Dec. 24. A man snatched a wallet from the hand of a customer in a convenience store.

Seventh St. and Florida Ave., 1:09 a.m. Dec. 21. Two males robbed a pedestrian of his wallet and a cellphone at gunpoint.

Ninth St., 4000 block, 10 p.m. Dec. 24. A male robbed a pedestrian of his wallet and a cellphone at gunpoint.

10th St., 800 block, 7:57 p.m. Dec. 22. Two male teenagers robbed a pedestrian of his wallet, a cellphone and keys at gunpoint.

12th and I streets, 2:45 p.m. Dec. 23. A male threatened a pedestrian and demanded her cellphone, then fled with her purse.

17th St. and Maryland Ave., 9:40 a.m. Dec. 22. Two people robbed a pedestrian of property at knifepoint.

18th St., 2900 block, 7:15 p.m. Dec. 25. A man wearing a mask forced a pedestrian into an alley at gunpoint, then robbed him of a cellphone and cash.

45th St., 100 block, 9:02 p.m. Dec. 24. Two males got out of a vehicle that had stopped in an alley and demanded property from a pedestrian, who refused to comply and ran away.

49th St., 500 block, 12:45 a.m. Dec. 22. Two men robbed a man who had just parked a vehicle of property at gunpoint, then drove away in the victim’s vehicle.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Eastern Ave., 1200 block, 1:06 p.m. Dec. 22. Property was stolen from an apartment entered by kicking in a bedroom window.

Emerald St., 1300 block, 7:04 p.m. Dec. 24. An attempt was made to break into a residence through a back door. The intruder fled empty-handed when an occupant turned on outside lights.

I St., 1200 block, 4:32 a.m. Dec. 22. An open garage was entered. The intruder fled empty-handed when confronted by an occupant of the residence.

Karl Pl., 5200 block, 2:07 p.m. Dec. 23. A resident was entered by force. Property was moved around, but nothing was reported missing.

Morse St., 1100 block, 6 p.m. Dec. 18 to 12:10 p.m. Dec. 20. Cash, a flat-screen TV and video game equipment and were among property stolen from a residence entered by smashing glass in the front door.

New York Ave., 1400 block, 4 p.m. Dec. 20 to 6 a.m. Dec. 21. Property was stolen from a location. There was no sign of forced entry.

Owen Pl., 1100 block, 9:31 p.m. Dec. 22. A circular saw and a jigsaw were stolen from a residence entered by breaking a basement window.

Rhode Island Ave., 100 block, 5:02 p.m. Dec. 21. Property was stolen from a residence entered through the unlocked front door.

Shepherd St., 2200 block, 9:30 a.m. to 7:33 p.m. Dec. 21. Property was stolen from a residence entered by breaking a basement window.

South Dakota Ave., 5100 block, 5:15 p.m. Dec. 12 to 3 p.m. Dec. 22. A municipal office building was entered by breaking a window. Inside the building, a window leading to a stairwell was broken. Nothing was reported missing.

15th St., 400 block, 7 p.m. Dec. 24. A residence was entered by removing the screen from a window. Nothing was reported missing.

22nd St., 2600 block, 8:22 a.m. Dec. 24. Property was stolen from a residence entered through a rear window.

50th St., 200 block, 11:30 a.m. to 7:46 p.m. Dec. 21. Property was stolen from a residence entered through a bedroom window.

50th St., 400 block, 8:19 p.m. Dec. 20. Property was stolen from an apartment entered by forcing the front door.

51st St., 200 block, 4:20 p.m. Dec. 22. Flat-screen TVs, video game systems, jewelry, cash and four pairs of sneakers were among property stolen from an apartment. There was no sign of forced entry.

54th St., 200 block, 12:50 a.m. Dec. 21. Property was stolen from a residence. There was no sign of forced entry.

ROBBERIES

Carroll St., 100 block, 1:30 p.m. Dec. 21. A man threatened a pedestrian and demanded his headphones, then ran away when the pedestrian resisted. The victim chased the man until they were spotted by police. A man was arrested.

Columbia Rd., 1800 block, 12:50 a.m. Dec. 22. A gunman robbed a female who just used an ATM, then fled in a vehicle driven by an accomplice.

Euclid St., 1400 block, 11:28 a.m. Dec. 25. A man threatened a pedestrian and robbed him of property.

Georgia Ave., 3400 block, 5:45 p.m. Dec. 24. A man wearing a trenchcoat robbed a store at gunpoint.

Georgia Ave., 5800 block, 10:10 p.m. Dec. 23. Two men threatened a pedestrian and robbed him of property from his pockets.

Hamilton St., 200 block, 11:15 p.m. Dec. 24. Two people got out of a vehicle and approached a man who had just parked a vehicle in front of a residence, then robbed him of a wallet, an iPad and a cellphone at gunpoint.

Irving St., 1300 block, 6:25 p.m. Dec. 23. A person snatched a pedestrian’s cellphone from her hand.

Kennedy St., 500 block, 6:27 p.m. Dec. 20. A man robbed a pedestrian of her cellphone at gunpoint.

Massachusetts Ave., unit block, 2:39 p.m. Dec. 22. A male threatened a pedestrian and robbed him of property from his pockets.

Monroe St., 1300 block, 2:27 p.m. Dec. 25. Three males robbed two pedestrians of a jacket and cash at gunpoint.

New Hampshire Ave., 4900 block, 12:30 p.m. Dec. 24. A male approached a pedestrian from behind as she was pushing a laundry cart, then pushed her aside and fled with property from the cart.

Newton St., 1300 block, 10:05 p.m. Dec. 22. A person robbed a pedestrian at gunpoint.

Newton St., 1500 block, 8 p.m. Dec. 20. Three males threatened a pedestrian and robbed him of property.

V St., 1200 block, 4:29 a.m. Dec. 29. Three men threatened a pedestrian and robbed him of property.

Varnum St., 1700 block, 12:12 a.m. Dec. 25. A man wearing a mask got out of a vehicle that had stopped near a pedestrian, then robbed him of a wallet at gunpoint.

Second and E streets, 10:20 p.m. Dec. 20. During an argument that escalated into a fight, a male robbed a male at knifepoint. An arrest was made.

Seventh and H streets, 5 a.m. Dec. 1. Two men threatened a pedestrian and robbed him of property from his pockets.

Eighth and Oglethorpe streets, 3:20 p.m. Dec. 23. Three male teenagers wearing ski masks threatened two pedestrians and demanded property. One pedestrian ran away, while the other surrendered a wallet, which contained no cash. After throwing the wallet to the ground, the three males fled empty-handed.

10th and U streets, 7:40 p.m. Dec. 22. A man who implied that he had a knife robbed a male pedestrian of property.

10th and Quincy streets, 2 a.m. Dec. 23. Two males approached a pedestrian from behind, then threatened and robbed him.

13th St., 5600 block, 9:30 p.m. Dec. 21. Two men robbed a female entering a residence of her purse and a cellphone at gunpoint.

13th St., 5800 block, 9:27 p.m. Dec. 22. Two males threatened a pedestrian and robbed him of a backpack.

14th St., 1900 block, 10:55 a.m. Dec. 24. A man approached a pedestrian from behind. then snatched a wallet from his hand. The victim chased him and was able to alert police. A man, 33, was arrested.

15th St., 1900 block, 1:44 a.m. Dec. 23. A man robbed a male pedestrian at knifepoint.

18th St., 2200 block, 10:30 p.m. Dec. 22. A man inside a restaurant snatched a cellphone from the hand of a female acquaintance, then fled the premises.

Bates St., 100 block, 9 a.m. to 6:12 p.m. Dec. 20. Property was stolen from a residence entered through an unlocked window.

Cadys Alley, 3300 block, 5:30 a.m. Dec. 24. A man entered a restaurant through the unlocked front door, then took property from an office. The incident was recorded by a surveillance camera.

N St., 100 block, 11:23 a.m. Dec. 20. Copper piping was stolen from a construction site.

Wisconsin Ave., 1200 block, 4:36 a.m. Dec. 24. Merchandise was stolen from a display at a store entered by breaking a front window with a brick.

Ninth St., 4500 block, 11:09 a.m. Dec. 23. Property was stolen from an occupied residence entered through an unlocked basement door.

11th St., 2500 block, 11:49 p.m. Dec. 24 to 1:43 a.m. Dec. 25. Two laptop computers were stolen from a storage cabinet entered by cutting a padlock. The cabinet was in a school entered by forcing a lock to a door.

Atlantic St., 200 block, 10:27 a.m. Dec. 23. During a dispute at a residence, a man robbed an acquaintance of a ring from her finger. An arrest was made.

B St., 5100 block, 11:35 p.m. Dec. 19. Two males followed a pedestrian to a residence, then threatened her and demanded her jacket. During a struggle, her cellphone fell out of her pocket. One of the males picked it up and then the two ran away.

Barnaby St., 800 block, 8:36 p.m. Dec. 21. Three male teenagers robbed a man at gunpoint, then drove away in the victim’s vehicle.

Barnaby St., 800 block, 11:37 a.m. Dec. 20. A person robbed two people sitting in a work van of their wallets at gunpoint.

Barry Rd., 2600 block, 6:22 a.m. Dec. 20. Three males approached a man getting out of a vehicle, then knocked him to the ground and robbed him of property from his pockets.

Douglass Pl., 2600 block, 1:37 p.m. Dec. 20. A group of four men robbed a pedestrian of his wallet at gunpoint.

Highwood Dr., 3600 block, 10:16 a.m. Dec. 22. While delivering packages, a man was approached by a person wearing a mask who demanded the key to the work van at gunpoint, then stole several packages and fled in a waiting vehicle.

Martin Luther King Jr. Ave., 3000 block, 8:14 p.m. Dec. 24. A male robbed two people at a gas station of cash and cellphones at gunpoint.

Pennsylvania Ave., 2300 block, 1:16 p.m. Dec. 20. Two males armed with a gun tried to rob a convenience store of cash from its safe. When they could not open the safe, they robbed a clerk of his wallet and cellphone.

Pope St., 3500 block, 9:15 a.m. Dec. 20. A male approached a motorist from behind while she was unloading the trunk of a vehicle, pushed her to the ground and fled with her purse.

Southern Ave., 5400 block, 7:38 p.m. Dec. 20. Two males robbed a pedestrian of his wallet at gunpoint, then fled in a silver vehicle.

19th St. and Trenton Pl., 12:20 a.m. Dec. 24. A male robbed a pedestrian of his coat at gunpoint. During a struggle, the victim was shot in the leg. He was taken to a hospital for treatment an injury that was not life-threatening.

21st St., 3400 block, 8:15 p.m. Dec. 20. A man robbed a pedestrian of a fanny pack at gunpoint.

27th St., 1700 block, 9:35 p.m. Dec. 24. Two male teenagers robbed a pedestrian of property from his pockets at gunpoint.

53rd St., unit block, 9:46 p.m. Dec. 25. A man approached a female getting out of a vehicle, then robbed her of the keys at gunpoint and drove away in her vehicle.
