ROBBERIES

Bladensburg Rd., 900 block, 4:32 a.m. Feb. 5. A man robbed a convenience store after passing a threatening note. Based on a witness description, an arrest was made a short time later in the 1000 block of 16th Street NE.

Bladensburg Rd., 2000 block, 8:17 p.m. Feb. 2. A male approached a motorist unloading a vehicle, then threatened her and robbed her of a wallet and a cellphone.

Clay St. and Minnesota Ave., 1:37 a.m. Jan. 31. Two males, one armed with a gun, robbed a male standing at a bus stop.

Dix St., 3300 block, 7:41 p.m. Feb. 1. Two male teenagers, one armed with a gun, tried to rob a male entering a residence, then fled empty-handed when an occupant opened the front door of the home.

Douglas St., 1000 block, 3:05 p.m. Feb. 2. A man got out of a dark-blue Chevrolet that had stopped in front of a residence and demanded cash at gunpoint from a man working in the yard. When the victim said he would have to go inside to get cash, the gunman got back in the vehicle and drove away.

E St., 1300 block, 2:10 p.m. Jan. 25. A male in a school hallway robbed a male student of a cellphone he was carrying.

East Capitol St., 4900 block, 12:20 p.m. Jan. 31. A man snatched property from the hand of a female pedestrian.

Edgewood St., 600 block, 11:50 p.m. Feb. 1. A man robbed a man in a parking lot at gunpoint, then fled in a black four-door Chevrolet.

Edgewood St., 700 block, 8:14 p.m. Feb. 5. Two male teenagers wearing ski masks robbed a pedestrian of his cellphone and cash at gunpoint.

Gault Pl., 4000 block, 6:57 p.m. Jan. 31. Three males robbed a man near a liquor store of property from his pockets at gunpoint.

H St., 900 block, 3:49 a.m. Jan. 31. A male snatched property from a female pedestrian’s hand.

H St., 1200 block, 2:30 a.m. Feb. 3. A man was knocked down outside of a bar and robbed of his wallet. At 11 a.m. that day, a man was arrested in Silver Spring after he tried to use a credit card from the wallet.

Hamilton St., 400 block, 10:05 p.m. Jan. 31. Two males robbed two pedestrians of a wallet, a cellphone and other property at gunpoint.

Hamilton St. and Rock Creek Church Rd., 7:30 a.m. Feb. 4. A man threatened a pedestrian walking near a bus stop and robbed her of a purse and a cellphone, then fled to a waiting vehicle.

Hayes St., 3700 block, 11:30 p.m. Feb. 4. A man near a school robbed a student of property from his backpack at gunpoint.

Kenilworth Ave., 1500 block, 8:12 p.m. Jan. 31. Two men followed a man as he approached the front door of a residence, then forced him inside at gunpoint. The intruders searched the premises, then fled with property.

Maryland Ave., 1400 block, 2 p.m. Feb. 3. A female teenager came up behind a customer in a convenience store, then snatched a wallet from the counter and fled.

Quarles St., 4500 block, 7:20 p.m. Feb. 1. A man who had gone with a man to a residence to complete a transaction involving a cellphone was robbed of cellphones and cash at gunpoint.

Rhode Island Ave., 3100 block, 4:09 a.m. Jan. 31. A man approached a pedestrian from behind and robbed her of a wallet at gunpoint.

Second St., 1300 block, 11:16 p.m. Feb. 1. A man robbed a convenience store at knifepoint.

Ninth St., 3900 block, 7:25 a.m. Feb. 4. A man got out of a parked vehicle, then threatened a pedestrian and fled on foot with her purse.

19th St. and Constitution Ave., 8:04 p.m. Feb. 5. Two males robbed three pedestrians at gunpoint.

45th and Eads streets, 9 p.m. Feb. 2. A male approached a pedestrian from behind, then threatened her and fled with a purse and a cellphone.

49th St., 300 block, 5 p.m. Feb. 1. Two males robbed a pedestrian of property at gunpoint. After a lookout was posted, an arrest was made at a bus stop at Division Avenue and Cloud Place NE.

49th St., 1300 block, 5:05 p.m. Feb. 4. A female snatched a cellphone from a pedestrian, then was detained by two passersby. An arrest was made.

55th St., 500 block, 1:44 p.m. Feb. 1. A male threatened a student inside a school and demanded his cellphone, then fled when two female passersby intervened. An arrest was made inside the school later that day.

63rd St., 300 block, 9:30 p.m. Feb. 4. Three male teenagers robbed a pedestrian of a cellphone and property from his pockets at gunpoint.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Blaine St., 5400 block, 3:14 p.m. Feb. 4. Property was stolen from a residence entered by forcing the front door.

Maryland Ave., 2200 block, 5 a.m. Jan. 28 to 3:30 p.m. Feb. 1. An apartment was entered by breaking a window. Nothing was reported missing.

Morse St., 1100 block, 3:30 p.m. Feb. 2 to 5:30 a.m. Feb. 3. Property was stolen from a residence entered by breaking a kitchen window.

Morton Pl., 600 block, 7:40 a.m. to 5:39 p.m. Feb. 1. Property was stolen from an apartment entered by force.

Oglethorpe St., 600 block, 8:20 a.m. to 3 p.m. Feb. 4. Gold rings, gold chains, earrings and cash were among property stolen from a residence entered through a kitchen window.

Raum St., 1200 block, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Feb. 4. Property was stolen from a residence. There was no sign of forced entry.

Rhode Island Ave., unit block, Jan. 22 to Feb. 4. Property was stolen from an apartment entered by breaking a bathroom window near a fire escape.

Seventh St., 1100 block, 5:25 to 5:30 p.m. Feb. 5. Property was stolen from a residence entered through a living-room window.

15th St., 100 block, 10:22 p.m. Feb. 1. An attempt was made to break into a location by forcing a rear door. A male juvenile was arrested near the scene of the incident.

50th St., 300 block, 5 to 11 p.m. Jan. 30. A laptop computer and a jar of coins were among property stolen from an apartment entered by kicking in the front door.

51st St., 200 block, 4 p.m. Feb. 3. A laptop computer was among property stolen from an apartment entered by kicking in the front door. Two males seen leaving the premises discarded the property during a foot chase.

ROBBERIES

Columbia Rd., 1300 block, 1:40 a.m. Jan. 31. Three men, one of whom was armed with a handgun, robbed a man as he was entering a residence.

Connecticut Ave., 3400 block, 9:28 a.m. Feb. 4. A man robbed a bank after passing a teller a threatening note.

Gallatin St., unit block, 7:58 p.m. Feb. 1. A man approached a pedestrian from behind, then threatened her and robbed her of property.

Georgia Ave., 7400 block, 11:28 p.m. Jan. 31. Two men robbed a convenience store of cash and lottery tickets at gunpoint.

M St., 1300 block, 1:30 a.m. Feb. 2. A man robbed a female pedestrian at gunpoint.

Oak St., 1400 block, 4:20 p.m. Feb. 1. A group of men approached a pedestrian from behind, then robbed him of cash from his wallet.

Otis Pl., 1300 block, 4 p.m. Feb. 5. Two males forced a pedestrian to the ground, then robbed him of property from his pockets.

Otis Pl., 1400 block, 10 p.m. Feb. 5. Two people knocked a pedestrian to the ground and robbed him of property from his hand. The victim was treated for a minor injury at the scene.

Q St., 1300 block, 1:30 a.m. Feb. 3. Three men robbed a pedestrian of property at knifepoint.

S St., 100 block, 11:20 p.m. Feb. 3. A male who implied that he had a handgun robbed two people of wallets. An arrest was made a short time later.

T St., 400 block, 11:31 p.m. Jan. 31. Two males robbed two pedestrians of property at gunpoint. A 19-year-old man was arrested a short time later.

Taylor St., 1400 block, 3:06 p.m. Feb. 2. A group of males knocked a pedestrian to the ground and robbed him of property. The victim was taken to a hospital.

Webster St., 700 block, 8:58 p.m. Feb. 5. A man approached a female pedestrian from behind and snatched her purse.

Wisconsin Ave., 4200 block, between 9:16 a.m. Feb. 4. A woman robbed a bank after passing a threatening note to a teller.

Second St., 1900 block, 3:35 p.m. Feb. 2. A man robbed a group of pedestrians of property at gunpoint.

17th St., 1700 block, 4:37 a.m. Feb. 3. A man threatened a pedestrian and robbed him of property.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Alaska Ave., 7500 block, 7:35 a.m. to 1:10 p.m. Jan. 31. Property was stolen from a location. There was no sign of forced entry.

Connecticut Ave., 1600 block, 8 p.m. Feb. 4 to 9 a.m. Feb. 5. Property was stolen from a location entered by forcing a door.

Connecticut Ave., 3600 block, between 6 p.m. Jan. 3 to 7 a.m. Feb. 4. Property was stolen from a lot where construction equipment was stored.

Girard St., 1400 block, 10:55 p.m. Feb. 3. A break-in occurred at an office building. A male who had hidden himself inside the building before it had closed for the day was arrested at the scene.

Meridian Pl., 1400 block, 10:10 to 10:15 p.m. Feb. 4. Property was stolen from an office.

T St., 100 block, 5:22 a.m. Feb. 4. A phone, a credit card and cash were stolen from an occupied residence entered through an unlocked window.

Thomas Jefferson St., 1000 block, 7 p.m. Feb. 4 to 8:45 a.m. Feb. 5. Property was stolen from an office in a commercial office building. There was no sign of forced entry.

U St., 1000 block, 9 p.m. Feb. 4 to 6:40 a.m. Feb. 5. Property was stolen from a store entered by breaking through drywall in a building accessed by forcing a rooftop entrance.

First St., 5300 block, 11:15 a.m. to 7:18 p.m. Feb. 1. Property was stolen from a residence entered by forcing a basement door.

37th and O streets, 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Feb. 4. Property was stolen from an unlocked dormitory room.

ROBBERIES

Alabama Ave., 2400 block, 7 p.m. Jan. 31. A man approached two pedestrians from behind and threatened them with a weapon. The victims dropped their purses and fled.

Bass Pl., 5000 block, 10:10 p.m. Feb. 2. Two men chased a pedestrian and robbed him of a cellphone and property from his backpack. The victim said that one of the men had a handgun.

Burbank St., 300 block, 8 p.m. Jan. 23. A group of four men threatened a pedestrian and robbed him of property.

Condon Terr., 400 block, 9:10 p.m. Feb. 1. Two men forced a man from a vehicle at gunpoint, then robbed him of property.

Minnesota Ave., 2200 block, 11:26 a.m. Feb. 2 and 11:26 a.m. Feb. 2. Two males wearing masks robbed a convenience store of cash, cigarettes and a cellphone at gunpoint.

Nelson Pl., 3000 block, 12:10 a.m. Jan. 31. Three people robbed two pedestrians of a cellphone and other property at gunpoint, then fled in a vehicle.

Pennsylvania and Potomac avenues, 9:41 a.m. Feb. 3. A man engaged a pedestrian in conversation, then robbed the person of cash and a cellphone at gunpoint.

Pleasant St., 1200 block, 11:30 p.m. Feb. 1. A group of five people robbed two pedestrians of a purse and other property at gunpoint.

Southern Ave., 300 block, 12:50 a.m. Feb. 5. Three males asked a man in a parking lot for a cigarette, then robbed him of property at gunpoint.

Tanner Ct , 1500 block, 7:50 a.m. Feb. 1. A male threatened a pedestrian and robbed her of a cellphone.

Valley Pl., 1300 block, 11:52 p.m. Feb. 4. A man approached a pedestrian from behind and robbed her of a purse.

First St., 3700 block, 1:20 p.m. Feb. 1. Three male teenagers approached a pedestrian from behind, then robbed her of a purse.

Fifth St., 3400 block, 5:08 p.m. Feb. 5. Two male teenagers wearing masks threatened a pedestrian and robbed him of cash.

14th St., 900 block, 12:38 a.m. Feb. 3. A man robbed two pedestrians at gunpoint.

24th St., 3400 block, 11:06 a.m. Feb. 5. Two men robbed a male pedestrian of property at gunpoint.

34th St., 100 block, 5:06 p.m. Feb. 2. A male passenger in a cab robbed the driver at knifepoint after arriving at this location. The driver notified police and followed the male to the 100 block of 36th Street SE. An arrest was made.

34th St. and Dubois Pl., 6:22 a.m. Feb. 1. Three males robbed a man of his jacket and hat at gunpoint.

46th St. and Benning Rd., 2:14 a.m. Feb. 3. Two men knocked a pedestrian to the ground and searched his pockets, then fled empty-handed. No serious injuries were reported.

B St., 3400 block, 10:09 p.m. Feb. 4. Property was stolen from a residence entered through an unlocked bedroom window.

B St., 3400 block, 1:13 p.m. Feb. 4. Cash was among property stolen from an apartment entered through a bedroom window.

Mississippi Ave., 1700 block, Jan. 4 to 25. A jacket was stolen from an apartment entered by breaking a window.

Parkland Pl., 300 block, 11:24 a.m. Feb. 3. Property was stolen from a residence entered by forcing the front door.

Third St., 4300 block, Jan. 24 to 5 p.m. Feb. 3. Property was stolen from a residence entered through an unlocked balcony door.

Fourth St., 4200 block, 11 p.m. Feb. 4 to 1:38 a.m. Feb. 5. Property was stolen from a residence. There was no sign of forced entry.

32nd Pl., 2100 block, 12:41 p.m. Jan. 31. Property was stolen from a residence entered by breaking glass in the front door.

35th St., unit block, 6:45 to 11:18 p.m. Feb. 3. Property was stolen from a residence entered by forcing a bedroom window.

ROBBERIES

Sixth and I streets, 4 p.m. Feb. 1. Two female teenagers threatened an acquaintance and robbed her of a cellphone. An investigation was ongoing.

Fourth St., 1300 block, 2:30 p.m. Feb. 1. A camera was among property stolen from a residence entered by kicking in the front door. An arrest was made. The property was recovered.

Sixth St., 1000 block, 8 to 8:45 p.m. Jan. 30. Property was stolen from an apartment that had been left unlocked while the building was being evacuated for a fire alarm.
