D.C. police seek man for information in Howard campus sex assault

D.C. police released video surveillance footage Friday of a man they said detectives want to interview about a sexual assault earlier this week in a classroom at Howard University.

Police said they want to identify the man who they believe may have information about an attack that occurred in the 2600 block of 6th Street on Monday between 9:30 and 10:15 a.m.

The video shows the man boarding a transit bus and taking a seat. In the video the man appeared to wear a tank-top t-shirt, a New York Yankees baseball cap and black and white shorts. Police described him as a black man with a dark complexion, about 6’ tall with a slim build and between 18 and 20 years of age.
