Fairfax County hopes to undo 50 years of unmanaged growth in Tysons Corner by wooing developers into transforming the pedestrian nightmare into a walkable urban core anchored by the Metro’s new Silver Line. Roughly a dozen major redevelopment proposals for the area are either approved or on track to approval within the next year or so. Read related article.
