Mayor Gray, Councilwoman Bowser battle for D.C. Democratic primary
Muriel Bowser has risen from the scrum of second tier candidates to rival Vincent C. Gray for the April Democratic mayoral primary in the District. Gray looks weaker in the wards he won four years ago to defeat incumbent Adrian M. Fenty. Doubts about Gray’s honesty continue to undermine his appeal to voters.
