Hundreds of D.C. drivers license applicants are being asked to reschedule their road test, the motor vehicles department said.
The department said it had been using “additional resources” to supplement its own staff. But that assistance is no longer available, the DMV said. It said it was working hard to hire more examiners.
In the meantime, it said, it was necessary to cancel most tests scheduled to take place between Tuesday and Oct. 11. Notifications were being made to the 800 people involved, the agency said.
