Deer hits car, jogger in Loudoun

At a time when many people appear to be getting fed up with deer , one of the animals only made things worse this week.

A deer collided with a car Thursday evening on Claiborne Parkway in the Ashburn area of Loudoun County and was thrown into the air, striking a jogger on a sidewalk, the county sheriff’s office said.

The driver, 71, and the jogger, 27, were taken to a hospital for treatment of injuries described as non-life threatening.
