The data drill on Washington schools: More than 900,000 students across the Washington region are starting a new term in public schools. By today, classes will be under way in Maryland, the District and Loudoun County. Next week, schools start in the rest of Northern Virginia. Here is a look at leadership, student enrollment, poverty and test scores for regular and charter schools in the District and 16 suburban systems.
