Four men stabbed in D.C.

Four men were stabbed and another assaulted after a large fight broke out early Sunday in Northwest Washington.

Emergency officials transported one of the victims — a 26-year-old man with a wound to the chest — to George Washington University Hospital, said Lon Walls, communications director of the D.C. Fire and Emergency Medical Services Department.

Police said they are seeking two men in connection with the incident, which occurred at 1:11 a.m. in the 1400 block of L Street Northwest. Both men were reportedly carrying knives.

The case is still under investigation. A cause for the violence was not released.
