NSF data on university research trends

Several readers asked for the underlying source material for a story The Post reported a couple weeks ago on trends in university research.

The headline on that Dec. 9 piece was “Johns Hopkins again No. 1 in university research spending,” but the story also examined spending patterns at other colleges and universities.

The Post on Friday created this Web link to the source table from the National Science Foundation.
