Blake Lane, 9500 block, 2 a.m. June 18. Three men attacked a 24-year-old man walking with another man. When the other man attempted to help, he was also attacked. They took a wallet and a cellphone, then fled. Minor injuries were reported.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Ashdown Forest Dr., 2900 block. Cash was stolen from a residence.

Fair Lakes Pkwy., 12800 block. A purse was stolen from a business.

ASSAULTS

Huntington Ave., 2500 block, 1:20 a.m. June 15. Two men and a woman accosted a 36-year-old man. The men assaulted him and attempted to take his jacket. Two District men, 19 and 20, were charged with assault and grand larceny. A 20-year-old District woman was charged with grand larceny.

ROBBERIES

Ladson Land and Richmond Hwy., 10:30 p.m. June 13. A person opened a car door and demanded cash from a 34-year-old man who had just parked. The man had no money, and the robber punched him and fled.

North Shore Dr., 11500 block, 8:20 a.m. June 14. Police, responding to an alarm at a school, found two men inside. Two Reston men, 25 and 37, were charged with burglary. They were also charged with burglary in connection with June 13 incidents in the 1700 block of Clubhouse Road and the 1800 block of Old Reston Avenue.

Turin Lane, 14400 block, 2:50 a.m. June 18. Three men assaulted two 24-year-old men and took their wallets. One of the victims was treated at a hospital for injuries. A 19-year-old Centreville man was charged with malicious wounding and robbery.

Basingstoke Loop, 14700 block. Sunglasses were stolen from a vehicle.

Deer Pond Rd., 5700 block. A pistol was stolen from a vehicle.

Elmwood St., 4100 block, 2:45 a.m. June 19. Police, responding to an alarm at a church, found a shattered window and evidence that someone had entered the building.

Jillians Forest Way, 15000 block. A blower and a trimmer were stolen from a residence.

Lafayette Center Dr., 4000 block. A cellphone and car keys were stolen from a business.

Laurel Rock Ct., 13800 block, 5:35 p.m. June 18. Jewelry was stolen from a residence entered by forcing a rear door.

Willard Way, 10300 block, 7:47 a.m. June 12. A man took a bottle of wine from a shelf in a grocery store and attempted to drink it. He fled after being confronted. A 41-year-old man of no fixed address was found in the area and charged with petty larceny.

MOTOR VEHICLE THEFTS

Fairfax Blvd., 10700 block, June 7. A woman lent her vehicle to a female acquaintance, who then did not return it. A 29-year-old Centreville woman was charged with unauthorized use of a vehicle.

VANDALISM

Lee Hwy., 9500 block, 6:29 p.m. June 9. A lock on a metal gate at a business was damaged.

Washington St. S., 1100 block, 4:45 p.m. June 15. Two males assaulted a male in an unsuccessful attempt to take his backpack. The injured male suffered a broken nose and a broken jaw.

ROBBERIES

Broad St. E., 400 block, 11:16 p.m. June 16. Two men on a moped attacked a man standing next to his motorcycle. The man fled and the two men, unable to start the motorcycle, stole a helmet and a shirt.

Follin Lane SE, 800 block, 8 a.m. June 7 to 7 p.m. June 17. A credit union account was opened in a man’s name without his knowledge. He discovered it when membership materials and an overdraft notice were sent to his house.

Maple Ave. E., 300 block, 4:44 p.m. June 12. Wine and laundry detergent were stolen from a grocery store.

Maple Ave. NE, 800 block, 9 p.m. June 15 to 5:30 a.m. June 16. Tee markers and a putting green flag were stolen from a golf course.

Patrick St. SE, 100 block, noon June 9 to 7:32 p.m. June 15. A generator was stolen from the rear of a truck.

Windover Ave. NW, 400 block, 4 p.m. June 18 to 8:30 a.m. June 19. A mailbox was knocked from a post and stolen.

MOTOR VEHICLE THEFTS

Ainstree Ct. NE, 600 block, 1 p.m. June 16 to 12:34 a.m. June 17. A 2012 Audi was stolen.

Patrick St. SE, 100 block, 10:30 p.m. June 17 to 7:30 a.m. June 18. A 2010 Toyota was stolen. A wallet and a key had been left in a rear map pocket of the unlocked vehicle, and the wallet was found on the rear patio of a residence. The vehicle was recovered June 19 in Fairfax County.

VANDALISM

Kramer Dr. SE, 400 block, noon June 17 to 7:02 p.m. June 19. A door lock of a vehicle was damaged. Nothing was reported stolen.

Orchard St. NW, 500 block, 11 p.m. June 14 to 9 a.m. June 15. A convertible top of a vehicle was cut, the windshield was cracked, and the vehicle was scratched.

Upham Pl. NW, 400 block, 10 p.m. June 15. A vehicle was scratched.

Ware St. SW, 500 block, 8 p.m. June 14 to 7 a.m. June 15. Windows of a vehicle were shattered.

Windover Ave. NW, 200 and 300 blocks, 8 p.m. June 18 to 8 a.m. June 19. Four mailboxes was smashed.
