THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Hatmark St., 2700 block. A laptop computer, a video game system and a pellet gun were stolen from a residence.

MOTOR VEHICLE THEFTS

Cambryar St., 4600 block. A 1998 GMC truck was stolen.

FRANCONIA DISTRICT
ASSAULTS

Graysons Mill Lane and Lorton Station Blvd.,8:50 p.m. Aug. 7. Two men threatened a 20-year-old man at gunpoint. A 24-year-old Springfield man was charged with brandishing a firearm. A 23-year-old Springfield man was charged with carrying a concealed weapon.

Lagrange St., 8700 block, 4:45 a.m. Aug. 7. A 20-year-old man was attacked by an acquaintance armed with a beer bottle. A 21-year-old Fairfax man was charged with malicious wounding. The victim was treated at a local hospital.

ROBBERIES

Lee Valley Dr., 6500 block, 10:50 p.m. Aug. 7. Two men robbed two men at gunpoint.

Richmond Hwy., 9400 block, 12:20 p.m. Aug. 3. A man who implied that he had a weapon robbed a bank. A man was arrested nearby. A 51-year-old man of no fixed address was charged with robbery and use of a firearm in the commission of a felony.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Cinder Bed Rd., 8500 block. A phone was stolen from a vehicle.

Essex House Sq., 6100 block. A navigator, a video game system and a TV were stolen from a residence.

Hanover Ave., 6000 block. Tools were stolen from a residence.

Higham Dr., 6400 block. A video game system and a laptop computer were stolen from a residence.

Itte Lane, 7100 block. A license plate was stolen from a vehicle.

Kathmoor Dr., 6000 block. A backpack and a laptop computer were stolen from a vehicle.

Kingstowne Blvd., 5700 block. Jeans were stolen from a business.

Kingstowne Blvd., 5800 block. A license plate was stolen from a vehicle.

ROBBERIES

Beauregard St. and Lachine Lane, 3:20 a.m. Aug. 4. Two men robbed a 21-year-old man at gunpoint.

Little River Tpk., 6300 block, 10:30 p.m. Aug. 5. Three men attacked and robbed a 32-year-old man. After being treated for injuries at a hospital on Aug. 6, the victim reported the incident to police.

Arlington Blvd., 6900 block. Tools were stolen from a vehicle.

Arlington Blvd., 8400 block. A laptop computer was stolen from a vehicle.

Brookside Dr., 4400 block. A radio was among property stolen from a vehicle.

Gallows Rd., 3400 block. A purse was stolen from a vehicle.

Jefferson St. S., 3400 block. A wallet was stolen from a business.

Jefferson St. S., 3500 block. Liquor was stolen from a business.

Manitoba Dr., 4900 block. Cash was stolen from a residence.

Tysons Corner Center, 7900 block. Shoes were stolen from a business.

Tysons Corner Center, 8000 block, 5 p.m. Aug. 4. A man stole a phone from a woman. An 18-year-old Falls Church man was charged with grand larceny and possession of stolen property with intent to sell.

ASSAULTS

Mennifield Ct., 2700 block, 4 a.m. Aug. 4. During an argument, a 19-year-old woman was cut by an acquaintance. A 21-year-old Alexandria man was charged with malicious wounding. The victim was treated at a local hospital.

ROBBERIES

Fairfax Terr., 2100 block, 10:05 p.m. Aug. 7. A male teenager attacked and robbed a 50-year-old man. The victim was treated for injuries at a local hospital.

Groveton St., 2800 block, 9 p.m. Aug. 9. A man robbed a 12-year-old boy of an iPod and headphones. No serious injuries were reported.

Richmond Hwy., 8400 block, 10:30 p.m. Aug. 8. A man tried to rob a woman at knifepoint, then fled empty-handed. No injuries were reported.

ASSAULTS

Fairfax Blvd., 9600 block, 2:11 a.m. Aug. 6. Two men were injured during a fight between two groups of people at a business. A 23-year-old Texas man was treated for stab wounds at Inova Fairfax Hospital. A 30-year-old man also was injured, but was not taken to a hospital. An investigation was continuing.

Lee Hwy., 11000 block, 9:57 p.m. Aug. 9. During an argument with an acquaintance, a 23-year-old woman was injured when a necklace was torn from her neck. A camera was destroyed during the dispute. A 26-year-old Falls Church man was charged with simple assault and destruction of property.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Atlanta St., 3200 block, July 30. Using the identity of a person at this address, a credit card account was opened in Kansas City.

Beech Dr., 9700 block, 8:08 p.m. Aug. 6. A pair of pants containing a wallet was stolen from an area near a soccer game taking place at a park. The pair of pants, missing the wallet and other property, was recovered.

Chain Bridge Rd., 3500 block, 10 p.m. Aug. 3 to 10 a.m. Aug. 4. Video games, cameras and a DVD player were among property stolen from two vehicles entered by forcing door locks.

Main St., 9600 block, 2:30 p.m. Aug. 2. A security officer saw merchandise being stolen from a business. A 47-year-old Alexandria woman was charged with petty larceny.

Old Lee Hwy., 3200 block, 7:11 p.m. Aug. 4. A security officer saw two males take merchandise from a store. After being confronted, one of the males left the merchandise and fled in a vehicle. The other male had fled on foot.

Old Post Rd., 3600 block, 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Aug. 6. An iPhone was stolen from a community pool pump house. The property later was recovered, and the incident was under investigation.

Parkhill Pl., 3400 block, 11 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. Aug. 8. Cash was stolen from a wallet.

VANDALISM

Main St., 10400 block, 12:53 a.m. Aug. 6. A male swung on a light pole, causing it to fall. A male identified in the incident has agreed to make restitution.

Dulany Pl., 100 block, May 15 to July 29. Jewelry and cash were stolen from a residence.

VANDALISM

Broad St. W., 800 block, 2:01 a.m. Aug. 4. Silver lettering was spray-painted on the rear of a parking garage.

Hillwood Ave., 100 block, 1:32 a.m. Aug. 4. Black lettering was spray-painted on a parked box truck.

Madison Lane, 900 block, 8 p.m. Aug. 6 to 4 p.m. Aug. 7. A window was damaged at a residence.

Washington St. S., 1300 block, 12:44 a.m. Aug. 4. Black lettering was spray-painted on a retaining wall.

Washington St. S., 300 block, 9:01 p.m. Aug. 6. A window was broken.

Wilson Blvd., 6700 block, 2:18 a.m. Aug. 3. A rear window of an occupied vehicle was smashed.

Elden St., 400 block, 2:25 p.m. Aug. 6. A 40-year-old Herndon woman was charged with shoplifting.

Elden St., 400 block, 7:45 p.m. Aug. 1. A 38-year-old Reston man was charged with shoplifting.

Elden St., 1200 block, 1:33 p.m. Aug. 2. A male tried steal packages of beef from a business, then fled empty-handed.

Florida Ave., 500 block, 1 p.m. Aug. 1. An inspection sticker was stolen from an unlocked vehicle.

Herndon Station Sq., 200 block, 7:30 p.m. Aug. 4. A telescope attachment was stolen.

Spring St., 200 block, 4:25 p.m. Aug. 2. An attempt was made to deposit two fraudulent checks into a bank account.

Patrick St. SE, 100 block, 3:49 p.m. Aug. 8. A thrown beer bottle shattered a glass tabletop on a patio at a residence.
