VANDALISM

Broad St. W., 1200 block, Sept. 25. The paint finish of a vehicle in a parking lot was damaged by a sharp object.

Fairfax St. E, 100 block, Sept. 20. Graffiti were spray-painted on the wall of a building.

Washington St. S., 200 block, Sept. 20. Graffiti were spray-painted on a wall of a convenience store.

Washington St. S., 400 block, 7:23 p.m. Sept. 24. A window was damaged at a business.

Hillwood Ct., 300 block, 10:27 p.m. Sept. 23. A person assaulted an acquaintance.

Van Buren St., 400 block, 4:27 p.m. Sept. 22. The windshield of a moving vehicle was broken by a wrench.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Elden St., 100 block, 3 to 4 p.m. Sept. 21. A laptop computer was stolen from a vehicle.

Elden St., 1000 block, 6:02 p.m. Sept. 21. An iPhone and cash were stolen from a vehicle.

Elden St., 1200 block, 4:56 p.m. Sept. 20. Alcoholic beverages were stolen from a business.

Merlins Ct., 1000 block, 10:59 p.m. Sept. 22. A handgun was stolen from a residence.

Player Way, 1100 block, 5:13 p.m. Sept. 19. A license plate was stolen from a vehicle.

Van Buren St., 700 block, 9:24 a.m. Sept. 24. A 23-year-old Herndon man was charged with grand larceny.

VANDALISM

Burwick Dr., 1100 block, 8 p.m. Sept. 19 to 3 p.m. Sept. 20. A vehicle mirror was damaged.

Dranesville Rd. and Third St., 9:36 p.m. Sept. 24. A moving vehicle was damaged by an egg.

Raven Tower Ct., 2100 block, 11:30 p.m. Sept. 21 to 11 a.m. Sept. 22. The door of a vehicle was damaged.

ASSAULTS

Maple Ave. W., 200 block, 6:30 p.m. Sept. 27. A man attacked a man he had followed into a fast-food restaurant following what was described as a road-rage incident. A 59-year-old Vienna man was charged with assault.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Cedar Lane SE, 200 block, 2 p.m. Sept. 26. Clothes and a cellphone were stolen from the bed of a pickup truck.

John Marshall Dr. NE, 400 block, 10 p.m. Sept. 23 to 5:30 a.m. Sept. 24. A vehicle break-in occurred. Nothing was reported missing.

John Marshall Dr. NE, 400 block, 7 p.m. Sept. 23 to 9 a.m. Sept. 24. Two vehicle break-ins occurred. Nothing was reported missing.

Macarthur Ave. NE, 400 block, 6 p.m. Sept. 23 to 9 a.m. Sept. 24. A violin was stolen from an unlocked vehicle.

MOTOR VEHICLE THEFTS

Patrick St. SE, 100 block, 4:10 a.m. Sept. 23. A vehicle that had been reported stolen in Prince William County was recovered.
