FAIR OAKS DISTRICT

ROBBERIES

Lee Jackson Memorial Hwy. and Waples Mill Rd., 9:30 p.m. Nov. 9. A man attempted to rob a 24-year-old man.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Ashvale Dr., 13100 block. Cash was stolen from a vehicle.

Cashel Lane, 2900 block. Jewelry was stolen from a residence.

Cedar Forest Dr., 4300 block. Jewelry was stolen from a residence.

Draper Dr., 3100 block. Tires and bumpers were stolen from a business.

Fair Lakes Shopping Center, 13000 block. A cellphone was stolen from a business.

Hill Rd., 2800 block. A debit card was stolen from a residence.

Hummingbird Lane,4600 block. A Global Positioning System device was stolen from a vehicle.

James Madison Dr., 2500 block, 11:40 p.m. Nov. 6. A man burglarized a high school. An 18-year-old Vienna man was charged with burglary.

Joseph Siewick Dr., 3600 block. A wallet was stolen from a business.

Metrotech Dr., 13900 block. A bicycle was stolen from a business.

Ranger Rd., 3100 block. Jewelry was stolen from a residence.

Willow Crescent Dr., 3300 block. License plates were stolen from a vehicle.

FRANCONIA DISTRICT

ROBBERIES

Lewis Chapel Cir., 7800 block, 1 a.m. Nov. 8. Three males robbed a 20-year-old man at gunpoint.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Beulah St., 7400 block. A laptop computer was stolen from a residence.

Cherwek Dr., 9400 block. An ATM card was stolen from a residence.

Craig St., 6000 block. A scooter was stolen from a residence.

Hyacinth Dr., 6100 block. Construction tools were stolen from a vehicle.

Little River Tpk., 6700 block. License plates were stolen from a vehicle.

Supreme Ct. and Villa Park Rd., 2:30 a.m. Nov. 4. Two vehicles were broken into. A 20-year-old Springfield man and an 18-year-old Alexandria area man were charged with petty larceny and vehicle tampering.

MOTOR VEHICLE THEFTS

Knights Ridge Way, 6000 block. A 1998 Mazda Protege was stolen.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Arlington Blvd., 8500 block, 4:37 a.m. Nov. 4. Oxycodone was stolen from a pharmacy entered by forcing open a window.

Carlin Springs Rd., 3500 block. A mountain bike was stolen from a business.

Columbia Pike, 6500 block. License plates were stolen from a vehicle.

Devon Dr., 3500 block. Checks were stolen from a residence.

Leesburg Pike, 6000 block. A green card and a driver’s license were stolen from a vehicle.

Little River Tpk., 6400 block. Cash was stolen from a business.

Little River Tpk., 7200 block. Liquor was stolen from a business.

Martin St., 4800 block. Power tools were stolen from a vehicle.

Parkwood Terr., 3200 block. Tools were stolen from a vehicle.

South Jefferson St., 3500 block. Cash was stolen from a business.

ROBBERIES

Curran St., 6700 block, 2:32 p.m. Nov. 3. Two men robbed a 29-year-old man at knifepoint.

Autumn Dr., 5900 block. A purse was stolen from a vehicle.

Balls Hill Rd., 1400 block. A camera was stolen from a vehicle.

Covington St., 3000 block. Tools were stolen from a vehicle.

Ellen Ave., 7000 block. A laptop computer was stolen from a residence.

Elm St., 6800 block. A purse was stolen from a vehicle.

International Dr., 2000 block. A purse was stolen from a business.

International Dr., 2000 block. An E-ZPass was stolen from a vehicle.

Jones Branch Dr., 7900 block. IPads were stolen from a business.

ROBBERIES

Laramie Pl. and Tamarind St., 10:23 p.m. Nov. 5. Three men damaged a 37-year-old man’s car and robbed him.

Monticello Rd., 5900 block, 7:15 p.m. Nov. 3. Two men robbed a 31-year-old woman.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Belle View Blvd., 1600 block. A speaker system was stolen from a business.

Buckman Rd., 4200 block. Cash was stolen from a residence.

Cold Spring Ct., 7100 block. Tools were stolen from a vehicle.

Fairhaven Ave., 2800 block. Cash was stolen from a residence.

Old Richmond Hwy., 1800 block. An iPod and cellphones were stolen from vehicles.

Radcliffe Dr., 6900 block. A ring was stolen from a residence.

Richmond Hwy., 7500 block. Tools were stolen from a vehicle.

Richmond Hwy., 7700 block. A cellphone was stolen from a business.

South Kings Hwy., 6900 block. Beer was stolen from a business.

Southlawn Ct., 8500 block. Cash was stolen from a residence.

Telegraph Rd., 6900 block. A purse was stolen from a business.

Vernon Square Dr., 7400 block. Shoes were stolen from a residence.

Westmoreland Rd., 1100 block. Rings were stolen from a residence.

Arlington Dr., 7200 block. A Yamaha motorcycle was stolen.

Audubon Ave., 7900 block. A Suzuki motorcycle was stolen.

Collard St., 3100 block. A Toyota Camry was stolen.

Phillips Dr., 2400 block. A 1995 Ford Contour was stolen.

VANDALISM

Pole Rd., 5300 block, 1 to 8:45 a.m. Nov. 5. Racial slurs were spray-painted on a concession stand at an athletic field.

RESTON DISTRICT

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Centreville Rd., 2100 block. Cash was stolen from a business.

Fitz Folly Dr., 9300 block, 7:23 p.m. Nov. 8. A residence was burglarized. Two Baltimore men, 20 and 27, were charged with burglary and grand larceny. The 27-year-old was also charged with possession of burglary tools and eluding police.

North Point Village Center, 1400 block. A donation jar was stolen from a business.

River Park Lane, 100 block. Jewelry was stolen from a residence.

Sunrise Valley Dr., 11800 block. A wallet was stolen from a business.

Wendell Holmes Rd., 12400 block. A cellphone was stolen from a school.

MOTOR VEHICLE THEFTS

Hearthstone Ct., 11500 block. A 2000 Ford Windstar was stolen.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Braddock Rd., 12100 block. Digital cameras were stolen from a business.

Braywood and Sequoia Farms drives, A blower was stolen from a residence.

Centreville Crest Lane, 5900 block. A license plate was stolen from a vehicle.

Kimberly Glen Ct., 4000 block. A license plate was stolen from a vehicle.

Oakcrest Ct., 10800 block, 5 p.m. Oct. 22 to noon Nov. 4. Tools and lawn equipment were stolen from a residence.

Oakcrest Dr., 4800 block, 10 p.m. Nov. 4. An unsuccessful attempt was made to enter a residence by forcing a window.

Singletons Way and Blue Gray Lane. Tools were stolen from a vehicle.

Stone Chase Way, 14200 block. A cellphone was stolen from a school.

Wolf Den Rd., 7100 block. An amplifier was stolen from a vehicle.

WEST SPRINGFIELD DISTRICT

ROBBERIES

Braddock Rd., 9500 block, 7:41 p.m. Nov. 3. A man entered an ice cream parlor, implied he had a weapon and demanded cash. An employee gave him cash, and he fled.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Burke Centre Pkwy., 5700 block. Wine was stolen from a business.

Center Rd., 8600 block. License plates were stolen from a vehicle.

Charles Thomson Lane, 7900 block. Tools were stolen from a vehicle.

Gunston Corner Lane, 8200 block. IPhones were stolen from a business.

Karver Lane, 8900 block. A bicycle was stolen from a residence.

Lemoyne Lane, 7700 block. Cash was stolen from a residence.

Matisse Way, 7700 block. A cellphone was stolen from a residence.

Weymouth Dr., 5300 block. A bicycle was stolen from a residence.

MOTOR VEHICLE THEFTS

Sutter Lane, 7800 block. A 1999 Chevrolet was stolen.

Fairfax City

The following incidents were recently reported by the Fairfax City Police Department. For more information, call 703-385-7809.

ASSAULTS

Willard Way, 10300 block, 9:53 p.m. Nov. 3. A female argued with a male employee of a restaurant. When the manager attempted to break up the conflict, the female punched the manager in the face. A 22-year-old Manassas woman was charged with assault.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Eaton Pl., 10300 block, 11 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. Nov. 4. Two employees in an office building reported that their wallets, containing cash, checks and credit cards, had been stolen from their desks in offices on different floors of the building. The credit cards were used to make purchases.

Fairfax Blvd., 9800 block, 5:45 to 6 p.m. Nov. 7. The door of a locker in a men’s locker room was damaged in an attempt to steal clothing. The locker was at a racket club.

Fairfax Blvd., 10400 block, 2:08 a.m. Nov. 7. Two males did not pay their bill at a restaurant and left.

Fairfax St., 4100 block, Nov. 7. Cash and a DVD player were stolen from an unlocked vehicle. A glove box of a second vehicle was ransacked; nothing was reported missing.

Jermantown Rd., 4000 block, 5:25 p.m. Nov. 4. A male in a store was observed concealing merchandise in his backpack and jacket. A 27-year-old Fairfax man was charged with grand larceny and possession of burglary tools.

Joyce Dr. and Jones St., 4:44 p.m. Nov. 3. A patrol officer noticed that a vehicle had license plates that had been reported stolen from Tennessee. An investigation revealed that the driver had stolen the plates and placed them on his vehicle. A 49-year-old Alexandria area man was charged with possession of stolen property and displaying a license plate issued to another vehicle.

Main St., 9600 block, 2:19 p.m. Nov. 3. A male and a female concealed merchandise in bags at a store and left.

Main St., 9600 block, 2:30 p.m. Nov. 7. Two females in a liquor store concealed two bottles of alcohol in a bag. They paid for another item, then left without paying for the concealed items.

Roberts Rd., 4100 block, 7 a.m. Oct. 29 to 11 p.m. Nov. 2. An unsuccessful attempt was made to enter a residence.

Willard Way, 10300 block, 4:48 p.m. Nov. 1. A person claiming to be from the Fairfax County Sheriff’s Office called the manager of a restaurant and reported that one of the restaurant employees had been arrested and needed money to get out of jail. A restaurant employee withdrew money from a bank account and followed the caller’s instructions to wire it in three equal portions to three people in Wisconsin. Subsequent inquiries to the sheriff’s office determined that the employee was at home and had not been arrested. The money was picked up in Wisconsin.

MOTOR VEHICLE THEFTS

Pickett Rd., 3800 block, 7:19 p.m. Nov. 4 to 7 p.m. Nov. 5. A male driving a company dump truck did not return it at the end of the day. Attempts to contact the driver were unsuccessful. A warrant charging him with unauthorized use of a vehicle was issued. The truck was later returned, but the driver could not be located.

VANDALISM

Bryd Dr., 10900 block, 10 p.m. Nov. 6 to 2 a.m. Nov. 7. Papers were from the glove box of an unlocked vehicle were strewn inside; nothing was reported missing.

Courthouse Dr., 10400 block, midnight to 10:52 a.m. Nov. 6. A decorative pumpkin was taken from the front steps of a residence and smashed.

Fairfax Blvd., 10700 block, 1:57 a.m. Nov. 4. A motorist at a drive-through window of a fast-food restaurant became impatient about the delay in being served and damaged the window.

Jermantown Rd., 4000 block, 6 to 10:30 p.m. Nov. 6. Four tires of a vehicle in a parking lot were punctured.

Main St., 10200 block, 8:11 p.m. Nov. 5. Two male juveniles broke lights in a parking garage. Two Fairfax City males, 12 and 13, were located and released to their families.

Rust Rd., 4100 block, 2 a.m. to 12:34 p.m. Nov. 7. Two tires of a vehicle were slashed, and a third tire was flattened.

Falls Church

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Broad St. E., 100 block, Nov. 3. A bill was not paid at a restaurant.

Broad St. W., 300 block, Nov. 5. A person knocked a wallet from a person’s hand and took cash from it.

Great Falls St., 100 block, Nov. 4. A railing was stolen from a residence.

Gundry Dr., 200 block, Nov. 1. Halloween decorations were stolen from a yard of a residence.

Park Ave., 800 block, Nov. 6. Electronic game equipment and other items were stolen from a vehicle entered by force.

VANDALISM

Lawton St., 300 block, Nov. 5. A side window of a vehicle was smashed.

Parker Ave., 700 block, 2 to 3 p.m. Nov. 4. A window of a residence was broken.

Washington St. N., 200 block, Nov. 4. A window at a parking garage was broken with a rock.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Meeting House Station Sq., 200 block, 6:30 p.m. Nov. 3 to 7:50 a.m. Nov. 4. A license plate was stolen from a vehicle.

VANDALISM

Florida Ave., 500 block, 11:18 a.m. Nov. 1. A vehicle was damaged.

Florida Ave., 500 block, 12:43 a.m. Nov. 3. A person broke an acquaintance’s property.

Lynn St., 700 block, 5 p.m. Oct. 28 to 8 a.m. Oct. 31. An antenna on a vehicle was damaged.

Vienna

Center St. N., 100 block, 5:15 to 6:21 p.m. Nov. 3. A pair of sunglasses was stolen from a person at a tanning business.

Desale St. Sw, 800 block, noon to 4:42 p.m. Nov. 8. A wicker love seat, an electric saw and several extension cords were stolen from the front lawn of a residence.

Maple Ave. E.,100 block, 9:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Nov. 3. A bicycle was stolen from a bike rack.
