SEXUAL ASSAULTS

Country Creek Rd. and Shawn Leigh Dr., 6:50 p.m. July 18. A man approached a female pedestrian, reached up her dress and grabbed her buttocks, then fled.

Metrotech Dr., 13900 block, 8:35 p.m. July 17. A woman said a man had taken pictures of her while she was trying on clothes in a fitting room.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Branch Side Lane, 9300 block, 10:15 p.m. July 17. Laptop computers were stolen from a residence entered by forcing a rear window.

Chain Bridge Rd., 2900 block. Beer was stolen from a business.

Fair Lakes Cir., 12500 block. Merchandise was stolen from a business.

James Swart Cir., 11200 block. A cellphone was stolen from a business.

Metrotech Dr., 13900 block. A credit card was stolen from a business.

Metrotech Dr., 13900 block. Car keys were stolen from a vehicle.

Waples Mill Rd., 11200 block. Brass was stolen from a business.

MOTOR VEHICLE THEFTS

Mission Square Dr., 3000 block. A Kawasaki motorcycle was stolen.

Oakdale Crescent Ct., 4400 block. A Ford Mustang was stolen.

Pender Creek Cir., 12200 block. A Ford Escape was stolen.

FRANCONIA DISTRICT

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Atteentee Rd., 5900 block. A wallet was stolen from a business.

Commerce St., 7200 block. A cellphone was stolen from a residence.

Exeter St., 4500 block, 2:45 p.m. July 13. Cash and camera equipment were stolen from a residence.

General Washington Dr., 5600 block. Cash was stolen from a business.

Larkspur Dr., 6000 block. A license plate was stolen from a vehicle.

Manchester Blvd., 7000 block. Cases of beer were stolen from a business.

Pohick Bay Dr., 6500 block. A cellphone was stolen from a business.

Apple Tree Dr., 4600 block. A 2003 Dodge Ram was stolen.

Essex House Sq., 6100 block. A 2006 Kawasaki Ninja 600 was stolen.

Essex House Sq., 6100 block. A 2009 Kawasaki Ninja was stolen.

Hill Park Ct., 7900 block. A Buick LeSabre was stolen.

Arlington Blvd., 6100 block. A cellphone was stolen from a business.

Bisvey Dr., 2800 block. Keys were stolen from a business.

Carlin Springs Rd., 3400 block. A wallet was stolen from a business.

Crossroads Center, 5800 block. A backpack was stolen from a business.

John Marr Dr., 4200 block. A wallet was stolen.

John Marshall Dr., 2900 block. Tools were stolen from a vehicle.

Leesburg Pike, 5100 block. A wallet was stolen from a business.

Leesburg Pike, 5700 block. Jewelry and cash were stolen from a business.

Patrick Henry Dr., 2900 block. Cash was stolen from a business.

South Jefferson St., 3500 block. A cellphone was stolen from a business.

South Jefferson St., 3500 block. A purse was stolen from a business.

South Jefferson St., 3500 block. Liquor was stolen from a business.

Wendy Ridge Lane, 7800 block, 6:30 p.m. July 13. A residence was entered by forcing a rear door. Nothing was reported missing.

Wingate St., 6300 block, 1:30 a.m. July 15. A residence was entered by forcing a dining room window. An intruder was seen jumping from a balcony. Nothing was reported missing.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Arabian Ave., 9300 block. A computer was stolen from a residence.

Maple Ave. E., 200 block, noon June 19. A check for payment of merchandise was written on a closed account.

Maple Ave. E., 400 block, 12:21 p.m. July 16. Four people entered a liquor store. While two of the people distracted an employee, the others stole a bottle of vodka.

Maple Ave. NW, 200 block, 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. June 13. Keys were stolen from a counter in a business.

Maple Ave. W., 500 block, 7 a.m. July 9 to 7:50 a.m. July 16. Landscaping equipment was stolen after it was left in an alley behind a business.

Nutley St. SW, 500 block, 2 to 11 p.m. July 14. A mailbox was stolen from a residence.

Walnut Lane NW, 200 block, 7:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. July 17. Jewelry was stolen from a residence.

VANDALISM

Courthouse Rd. SW, 400 block, 1:53 p.m. July 15. Two mailboxes were knocked over.
