Monterey Estates Dr., 13000 block. A trash can was stolen from a residence.

North Shore Dr., 11500 block, 8:45 a.m. Aug. 12. A pool was entered at night by climbing a fence. Nothing was reported missing or damaged.

North Shore Dr., 11600 block. A scooter was stolen from a residence.

Reston Ave., 1100 block. Two air conditioners were stolen from a business.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Bent Tree Cir., 13600 block. A cellphone was stolen from a residence.

Chasewood Cir., 6800 block, 10:44 a.m. Aug. 13. Several items were stolen from a pool area entered through a rear fence.

Conference Center Dr., 14900 block. A backpack, a wallet, keys and a phone were stolen from a business.

Creek Run Dr., 6500 block. Two bicycles were stolen from a residence.

Lavender Mist Lane,13600 block. A cellphone was stolen from a vehicle.

Poplar Tree Rd., 13600 block, 6:51 p.m. Aug. 10. Several screens of a porch of a residence were cut. Nothing was reported missing.

Watery Mountain Ct., 14300 block, 10:25 a.m. Aug. 14. A video game system was stolen from a residence.

SEXUAL ASSAULTS

Frontier Dr., 6600 block, 5:01 p.m. Aug. 10. An 18-year-old woman accepted a ride from a man she did not know. The man sexually assaulted her in his vehicle.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Carrick Lane, 8100 block. Cash was stolen from a residence.

Commons Dr., 4700 block, 7:30 p.m. Aug. 15. Jewelry was stolen from an apartment.

Edinburgh Dr., 7900 block. A cellphone was stolen from a vehicle.

Heritage Dr., 7900 block. A wallet was stolen from a vehicle.

Invershapel Rd., 5400 block. Copper was stolen from a residence.

Lake Braddock Dr., 9300 block, 11:11 a.m. Aug. 13. Cash was stolen from a pool, entered by forcing a rear door.

Larrick Ct., 7900 block. A cellphone was stolen from a vehicle.

Millwood Dr., 8300 block. A Global Positioning System device and cash were stolen from a vehicle.

Old Keene Mill Rd., 8300 block. Groceries were stolen from a business.

Pin Oak Dr., 8600 block. CDs and gift cards were stolen from a vehicle.

Preakness Lane, 7800 block. A purse, sunglasses and medication were stolen from a vehicle.

Rexford Dr., 5800 block. A bicycle was stolen from a residence.

Rolling Rd., 6200 block. A cellphone was stolen from a business.

Shadowcreek Terr., 7700 block. CDs and a check were stolen from a vehicle.

Wood Pointe Way, 9100 block. A stereo, a headset and a diamond ring were stolen from a residence.

MOTOR VEHICLE THEFTS

Halley Ct., 8100 block. A 2006 Honda motorcycle was stolen.

Moline Pl., 8300 block. A 2004 Mazda was stolen.

Terra Grande Ave., 8300 block. A Nissan Maxima was stolen.

Fairfax City

INDECENT EXPOSURE

Jermantown Rd. and Fairfax Blvd., 4:16 p.m. Aug. 11. A woman saw a nude male riding a bicycle. A 48-year-old Fairfax City man was charged with indecent exposure and eluding police.

ASSAULTS

Fairfax Blvd., 10700 block, 11:13 p.m. Aug. 10. A woman punched a police officer in the face during an investigation. A 21-year-old Fairfax City woman was charged with assaulting a police officer.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Chain Bridge Rd., 3900 block, 11 p.m. Aug. 11 to 8:38 p.m. Aug. 12. A statue of a fox, on display outside a restaurant, was stolen.

Crest St., 10700 block, July 24. A letter containing a check was stolen from a residential mailbox. The check was subsequently cashed.

Fairfax Blvd., 9400 block, 10 a.m. Aug. 7 to 12:38 p.m. Aug. 8. Coins were stolen from the coin boxes on three washer and dryer machines in a laundry room of a condominium building.

Fairfax Blvd., 9400 block, 10:30 p.m. Aug. 8 to 9:49 a.m. Aug. 9. Wheels were stolen from a vehicle.

Lee Hwy., 11000 block, 8:52 p.m. Aug. 6. A female was observed concealing merchandise in a store. A 46-year-old Fairfax City woman was charged with concealment of merchandise.

Main St., 9600 block, 5:45 to 9 p.m. Aug. 6. A Global Positioning System device and a wallet containing cash and a credit card were stolen from a vehicle in a parking lot. The credit was subsequently used to make a purchase.

Sherwood St., 4100 block, 3 a.m. Aug. 9. A police officer saw a man take a bicycle from the front yard of a residence. A 21-year-old Fairfax City man was charged with petty larceny and public drunkenness.

VANDALISM

Hampton Lane, 9800 block, 9 a.m. Aug. 12 to 9 a.m. Aug. 13. A window and a screen of a residence were broken.

Lyndhurst Dr., 3900 block, 9:30 p.m. Aug. 7 to 7:07 a.m. Aug. 8. A vehicle was scratched.

University Dr., 3900 block, midnight Aug. 9. An elevator in a parking garage was damaged.

Broad St. W., 900 block, Aug. 3. A male pretended to be a contractor for a landlord of a building, then took cash from a wallet at a business.

Fairfax St. E., 200 block, Aug. 7. A package, delivered to the hallway of an apartment complex, was stolen.

Rosemary Lane W., 400 block, Aug. 10. Jewelry and a computer were stolen from a residence.

Wilson Blvd., 6700 block, Aug. 5 to Aug. 6. An iPhone was stolen.

VANDALISM

Broad St. W., 500 block, Aug. 3. A tire of a vehicle was slashed, and the driver’s seat was torn.

Jefferson St.E., 400 block, Aug. 5. Eggs and dog food were thrown on a vehicle.

Midvale St., 200 block, Aug. 11. Paint was sprayed on a vehicle.

Park Ave., 900 block, Aug. 5. A side-view mirror of a vehicle was damaged.

Elden St., 400 block, 7:08 p.m. Aug. 11. A 29-year-old Arizona woman was arrested in connection with concealing merchandise.

Kings Ct., 1000 block, 6 p.m. Aug. 11. An iTouch was stolen from a residence.

Lions Pride Dr., 700 block, 8 p.m. Aug. 7 to 12:30 p.m. Aug. 8. A bicycle was stolen from a garage of a residence.

VANDALISM

Bowers Lane, 500 block, 9:44 a.m. Aug. 9. Graffiti were found in the area.

Herndon Woods Ct., 7U00 block, 7:08 p.m. Aug. 10. The windshield of a vehicle was damaged.

Palmer Dr., 700 block, 11:30 p.m. Aug. 6 to 7 a.m. Aug. 7. A window of a vehicle was smashed.

Pine St., 700 block, 2:22 p.m. Aug. 8. Flower boxes outside a business were damaged.

Stanton Park Ct., 1000 block, 3:02 p.m. Aug. 6. A window and drywall of a residence were damaged.

Vienna

ASSAULTS

Nutley St. and Maple Ave. SW, 6:44 p.m. Aug. 16. The driver of a vehicle and a bicyclist argued when the vehicle was close to the bicycle. The cyclist banged on the window of the vehicle and shouted at the driver. Witnesses said the driver appeared to strike the rear tire of the bicycle, causing the cyclist to fall. The incident was under investigation.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Country Club Dr. NE, 900 block, 7 p.m. Aug. 14 to 7 a.m. Aug. 15. Golf clubs were stolen from an unlocked vehicle in front of a residence.

Lewis St. NW, 300 block, noon Aug. 8 to 7:51 p.m. Aug. 15. A bicycle was stolen from a carport of a residence.

Locust St. SE, 200 block, 5 p.m. July 27 to 9 a.m. Aug. 2. Several checks and vouchers were stolen from a vehicle.

Maple Ave. E., 100 block, 9 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. Aug. 11. A bicycle was stolen from a bike rack at a grocery store.
