Trillium House Lane, 6500 block. A 1998 Ford Ranger was stolen.

WEST SPRINGFIELD DISTRICT

ASSAULTS

Burke Centre Pkwy. and Wilmington Dr., 1 a.m. Sept. 5. A man pointed a handgun at a person after a traffic disagreement. A 19-year-old Springfield man was charged with brandishing a weapon.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Ashmeade Dr., 9300 block, 7 a.m. Sept. 2. A juvenile was seen taking a bicycle from a yard to a nearby van. Police found five male juveniles and stolen property, including bicycles, jewelry and Global Positioning System devices. The juveniles were released to a guardian. The case was under investigation.

Aylor Rd., 5400 block. A statue was stolen from a residence.

Bayard Pl., 9200 block. A cellphone was stolen from a residence.

Blue Oak Ct., 8400 block, 9:30 p.m. Sept. 2. An intruder was found in a vacant home, where he had been sleeping. The residence had been entered by breaking a realty lockbox containing a key. A 30-year-old Vienna man was charged with unlawful entry.

Burke Lake Rd., 9200 block. A cellphone was stolen from a school.

Forest Breeze Ct., 9100 block. Tools were stolen from a vehicle.

Governor Yardley Dr., 5400 block, 5:30 p.m. Sept. 1. Several coins were stolen from a residence entered by forcing a basement door.

Harford Lane, 5000 block. Bullets and other property were stolen from a vehicle.

Harford Lane, 5000 block. A wallet was stolen from a vehicle.

La Crosse Ct., 5500 block. Tools were stolen from a vehicle.

Parkman Ct., 4700 block. Tools were stolen from a vehicle.

Rolling Rd., 6100 block. A laptop computer was stolen from a vehicle.

Rolling Rd., 7900 block. A lottery ticket was stolen from a business.

Rolling Rd., 8000 block, 2 a.m. Sept. 4. Police, responding to a burglar alarm at a business, found a broken front glass door. Merchandise was stolen.

Truro Ct., 8100 block. Medication was stolen from a residence.

Fisteris Ct., 9100 block. A 2005 Suzuki motorcycle was stolen.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Fairfax Blvd., 9500 block, 9 p.m. Sept. 1 to 9:34 a.m. Sept. 2. Cigarettes were stolen from a gas station.

Fairfax Blvd., 11100 block, June 28. A purse containing credit cards was stolen from an office. A 42-year-old District man was arrested and charged with credit card theft, credit card fraud and grand larceny.

Farrcroft Dr., 10100 block, 5:30 p.m. Aug. 31 to 11:08 a.m. Sept. 2. Coins, a purse and a pair of sunglasses were stolen from an unlocked vehicle.

Glendale Way, 4000 block, 5 p.m. Aug. 29 to 7 a.m. Aug. 30. Copper pipe was stolen from four townhouses under construction, and air conditioners were damaged.

Hill St., 3400 block, May 23 to Sept. 4. A package containing a laptop computer was stolen after it was delivered to a residence.

John Mason Pl., 10000 block, 9 a.m. Sept. 1 to 7:12 p.m. Sept. 2. Coins and a pair of sunglasses were stolen from an unlocked vehicle.

Main St., 9600 block, 3 to 3:30 p.m. Sept. 3. A female at a store put merchandise into her purse and left.

Wilcoxson Dr., 3800 block, 9 p.m. Sept. 1 to 10:07 a.m. Sept. 2. A pair of swimming trunks was stolen from a vehicle.

Broad St. W., 1200 block, Aug. 31. A nude man attempted to make sexual advances in a massage business.

ASSAULTS

Broad St. W., 300 block, Sept. 3. A 36-year-old Woodbridge man was arrested at a motel in connection with assault, contributing to the delinquency of a minor and public drunkenness.

Broad St. W.,900 block, Aug. 29. A 37-year-old Falls Church man was arrested in connection with the assault of a family member.

ROBBERIES

Wilson Blvd., 6600 block, Sept. 1. A person in a parking lot demanded cash from an acquaintance who owed the person money. The person then took cash from the acquaintance.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Broad St. W., 100 block, Aug. 28. Silverware was stolen from a restaurant.

Columbia St. W.,300 block, Aug. 31. Cash was stolen from two unlocked vehicles.

Shadow Walk, 300 block, Aug. 31. Cash was stolen from a vehicle in an unlocked garage.

Queens Ct., 1000 block, 5:34 p.m. Aug. 28. A person assaulted an acquaintance.

Reneau Way, 400 block, 11:59 p.m. Aug. 28. A person assaulted an acquaintance.

Springtide Pl., 1200 block, 9:16 a.m. Sept. 2. A 39-year-old Herndon man was arrested in connection with assault.

Worldgate Dr., 13000 block, 11:30 p.m. Aug. 27. A person assaulted an acquaintance.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Elden St., 400 block, 11:17 p.m. July 26 to 11:17 p.m. Aug. 20. A trash bin for grease was stolen.

Elden St., 400 block, 4:25 p.m. Aug. 30. A juvenile attempted to shoplift merchandise from a business.

Elden St., 400 block, 7 p.m. Sept. 1. A 35-year-old Herndon man was arrested in connection with larceny.

Elden St., 1200 block, 11 p.m. Sept. 1 to 7:30 p.m. Sept. 2. Vehicle registration stickers were stolen from a vehicle.

Monroe St., 600 block, 3:13 a.m. Aug. 27. A cash register, money and beauty supplies were stolen from a business.

VANDALISM

Herndon Pkwy., 1200 block, 1:05 p.m. Aug. 30. A fence around a pool was damaged.

Queens Ct., 1000 block, 11:09 p.m. Aug. 29. Tires of a vehicle were slashed.
