PEEPING TOM INCIDENTS

Pender Creek Cir., 12200 block, 2:30 a.m. Sept. 27. Residents saw a person look into their bedroom window. They confronted the intruder, who fled.

ASSAULTS

Fair Lakes Shopping Center, 13000 block, 1:25 a.m. Oct. 2. An employee was struck by a shot from an “air soft” BB-style gun. Minor injuries were reported.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Fair Oaks Shopping Center, 11700 block. A cellphone was stolen from a business.

Fountainside Lane, 4100 block. Four tires were stolen from a vehicle.

Hunt Club Cir., 4200 block, 4:45 p.m. Oct. 2. Jewelry and a laptop computer were stolen from a residence entered through an unlocked front door.

Joseph Siewick Dr., 3700 block. Prescription drugs were stolen from a business.

Lee Jackson Memorial Hwy., 12300 block. A cellphone was stolen from a vehicle.

Hickory Grove Ct.,3000 block. A 2009 Yamaha motorcycle was stolen.

Oak Plank Ct. and Platten Dr. A Toyota Tacoma was stolen.

Summet Square Dr., 3100 block. A Honda 600RR motorcycle was stolen.

FRANCONIA DISTRICT
INDECENT EXPOSURE

Stoddard Ct., 6000 block, 12:02 a.m. Sept. 27. A woman reported that a male stood outside her window while exposing himself. The male fled when the woman called police.

ROBBERIES

Kinsgtowne Center, 5800 block, 3:25 p.m. Sept. 27. Three people attempted to steal three guitars from a business. The owner fought with them and retrieved the guitars. Minor injuries were reported.

Ardglass Ct., 7400 block. A cellphone was stolen from a residence.

Backlick Rd., 5200 block. Cash was stolen from church.

Katelyn Ct., 6000 block, 8:20 p.m. Sept. 27. Cash was stolen from a residence entered by forcing a rear door.

Springfield Plaza,6300 block. A cellphone was stolen from a business.

ASSAULTS

Annandale Rd., 3100 block, 10:30 p.m. Sept. 29. A police officer saw a fight between a man and a woman. When the officer attempted to detain the man, the woman attacked him. A 37-year-old Falls Church woman was charged with assaulting a police office and public drunkenness. A 37-year-old Falls Church man was charged with assaulting a family member and public drunkenness.

Arlington Blvd., 7200 block. A wallet was stolen from a business.

Carlin Springs Rd., 3400 block. Beer was stolen from a business.

Charleson St., 3400 block. Three tires were stolen from a vehicle.

Downing St.,4200 block. Rugs and jewelry were stolen from a residence.

Gallows Rd., 3300 block. A cellphone was stolen from a business.

John Marr Dr., 4200 block. Merchandise was stolen from a business.

Windy Hill Rd., 1300 block, 9:45 a.m. Oct. 1. Two laptop computers were stolen from a residence entered through an unlocked kitchen door.

PEEPING TOM INCIDENTS

Bedford Terr., 5300 block, 12:30 p.m. Sept. 28. A female reported seeing someone looking into her bedroom. The person fled.

ASSAULTS

Richmond Hwy., 6300 block, 3 p.m. Sept. 29. A man suspected of shoplifting ran from an employee and pushed a Washington Metro police officer. A 27-year-old Alexandria man was charged with assaulting a police officer, petty larceny and escaping with force.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Dorset Dr., 6600 block. A wallet was stolen from a vehicle.

Mint Pl., 7100 block, 1:30 a.m. Sept. 29. A woman awoke and found a man in her room. The man fled. An investigation revealed that someone had entered the residence by forcing a front door. A 21-year-old Alexandria man was located in the area and charged with public drunkenness.

Richmond Hwy., 6700 block. A wallet was stolen from a business.

Richmond Hwy., 6900 block. A cellphone was stolen from a residence.

Richmond Hwy., 7600 block. Merchandise was stolen from a business.

Richmond Hwy., 8600 block. Liquor was stolen from a business.

Rowne Manor Ct.,8500 block. Medication was stolen from a residence.

Explorer St. and New Dominion Pkwy., 11 p.m. Sept. 28. Two people attacked a man and took his cash. Minor injuries were reported.

Rose Petal Cir., 13100 block, 8:15 a.m. Oct. 1. A juvenile reported to his parents that another juvenile had threatened him with a handgun and demanded property.

Bowman Towne Dr., 12000 block. Golf clubs were stolen from a residence.

Canterwood Lane, 300 block. A revolver was stolen from a residence.

Challedon Rd., 1000 block. A political sign was stolen from a residence.

Eddys Park Dr., 12100 block. Sale signs were stolen from a business.

St. Francis St., 1800 block. Golf clubs were stolen from a residence.

SEXUAL ASSAULTS

Walney Rd., 5 p.m. Oct. 2. A man fondled a 31-year-old woman. A 33-year-old Fairfax man was charged with sexual battery.

INDECENT EXPOSURE

Braddock Rd. and Village Center Dr., 3:45 p.m. Oct. 1. A male motorist motioned to a female as if he needed assistance. He exposed himself and drove away.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Willard Rd., 14000 block. Speakers were stolen from a vehicle.

Ashview Dr., 7200 block, 1:30 p.m. Oct. 1. Someone rang a doorbell at a residence. After a resident did not answer, someone opened the front door. The intruder fled after being confronted by the resident.

Cockburn Ct., 8100 block. A cellphone was stolen from a residence.

Commons Dr., 4700 block. A gun was stolen from a residence.

Cove Landing Rd., 5800 block. A golf cart was stolen from a business.

Erman Ct., 6200 block. Cash was stolen from a residence.

Fullerton Rd., 7200 block. A license plate was stolen from a vehicle.

John Adams Ct., 7900 block. An electronic tablet was stolen from a residence.

Lyngate Ct., 5200 block. Cash was stolen from a business.

Rolling Rd., 6100 block. A laptop computer was stolen from a vehicle.

Rolling Rd., 6100 block. An iPad was stolen from a residence.

St. Johns Pl., 10700 block. Cash was stolen from a residence.

Fairfax City

ASSAULTS

Fairfax Blvd., 10000 block, 6:31 p.m. Sept. 27. A man touched two female hostesses in a restaurant, then left. A 65-year-old Annandale man was charged with assault and public drunkenness.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Chain Bridge Rd., 3500 block, 4:30 p.m. Sept. 21 to 7:14 p.m. Sept. 26. Tools were stolen from two vehicles in a parking lot.

Howsen Ave., 3700 block, Sept. 23 to Oct. 1. A mountain bike was stolen from the garage of a residence.

Jermantown Rd., 4000 block, 6:10 p.m. Sept. 20. A security officer saw a male switch price tags on merchandise at a store, then buy the merchandise for a lower price. The man put the merchandise in his vehicle, then returned to the store and switched more price tags. A 25-year-old Woodbridge man was charged with petty larceny.

Maple St., 10800 block, 5:38 p.m. Sept. 21. A laptop computer was stolen from a residence.

North St., 10400 block, 11:30 p.m. Sept. 28 to 1:30 p.m. Sept. 29. A Global Positioning System device and a purse containing credit cards, a cellphone and a check were stolen from a vehicle.

University Dr., 3500 block, Sept. 24. A woman used another woman’s identity for a loan application at an auto dealership. After her identity had been used, the woman learned about the incident when the dealership contacted her. The application was not processed.

Willard Way, 10300 block, 7:37 p.m. Sept. 26. A female stole vodka from a liquor store.

MOTOR VEHICLE THEFTS

Fairfax Blvd., 8400 block, 10 p.m. Sept. 24 to 10 a.m. Sept. 26. A 1988 BMW 325 was stolen from a parking lot.

VANDALISM

Fairfax Blvd., 9400 block, 2:28 p.m. Oct. 1. Graffiti were written on three newspaper vending boxes.

Main St., 9600 block, 4:07 p.m. Sept. 29. A group of juveniles entered a store and became disorderly. After leaving, one member of the group kicked a window at the front of the store, shattering it. A 14-year-old Fairfax area male was charged with destruction of property and released to his father.

Ranger Rd., 9700 block, 5 p.m. Sept. 28 to 12:07 p.m. Sept. 29. White paint was poured on the hood and roof of a parked vehicle.

Broad St. E., 1000 block, Sept. 26. Wallets were stolen from lockers in a men’s locker room.

Broad St. W., 100 block, Sept. 28. A 25-year-old District woman was arrested in connection with a shoplifting incident at a pharmacy.

Broad St. W., 1100 block, Sept. 28. A 52-year-old Falls Church man was arrested in connection with a shoplifting incident at a pharmacy.

Broad St. W., 1100 block, Sept. 29. A male stole merchandise from a pharmacy.

Broad St. W., 1200 block, Sept. 28. Merchandise was stolen from a liquor store.

Gundry Dr., 200 block, Sept. 28. Two GPS devices and an air bag were stolen from a vehicle.

Gundry Dr., 300 block, Sept. 28. A GPS and other property were stolen from a vehicle entered by smashing a window.

Maple Ave. N., 200 block, Sept. 28. An air bag was stolen from a vehicle.

Virginia Ave. S., 200 block, Sept. 28. A steering wheel compartment was stolen from a vehicle entered by shattering a window.

VANDALISM

Sherrow Ave., 400 block, Oct 1. Juveniles spray-painted a bridge.

Florida Ave., 500 block, 6:43 a.m. Sept. 25. A person assaulted an acquaintance.

Cordell Way, 700 block, 10 a.m. Sept. 26. A GPS and a two-way radio were stolen from an unlocked vehicle.

Elden St., 400 block, 10:12 a.m. Sept. 27. A 34-year-old Herndon man was arrested in connection with larceny.

Elden St., 400 block, 8:06 p.m. Sept. 30. Merchandise was stolen from a business.

Elden St., 400 block, 8:30 a.m. Sept. 29. A wallet was stolen from a cart.

Ferndale Ave., 800 block, 4:55 to 5:55 p.m. Sept. 24. Pants containing keys and a wallet were stolen from a locker. Credit cards from the wallet were subsequently used.

VANDALISM

Cavalier Dr. and Knight Lane, 11:20 a.m. Sept. 28. Graffiti were found in the area.

Grace St., 700 block, 9:45 a.m. Sept. 27. Political campaign signs in the front yard of a residence were damaged.

Magnolia Lane, 1200 block, 9:30 p.m. Sept. 25 to 9:15 a.m. Sept. 26. A rear window of a vehicle was damaged.

Spring St., 600 block, 8 a.m. Sept. 25. A file cabinet in a church was damaged.

Virginia Ave., 400 block, 2:30 p.m. Sept. 27. A front door of a residence was damaged.

Vienna

The following incidents were recently reported by the Vienna Police Department. For more information, call 703-255-6396.

ASSAULTS

Cedar Lane SE, 200 block, 11:05 p.m. Sept. 27. A witness saw a male holding a female relative’s hands over her head and pushing her against a balcony railing. The witness assisted the woman and detained the man until police arrived. An investigation determined the woman had been assaulted during an argument. A 32-year-old Vienna man was charged with domestic assault.

Maple Ave. W., 500 block, 1:21 a.m. Sept. 29. Two brothers fought in a parking lot. Police arrived, and one of the brothers punched the other in the face. A 20-year-old Woodbridge man was charged with domestic assault and public drunkenness.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Cottage St. SW, 800 block, 6 p.m. Sept. 30 to 8:45 a.m. Oct. 1. Several items were stolen from a residence.

Yeonas Dr. SW, 500 block, midnight to 11:59 p.m. Sept. 14. A person’s credit card account was used fraudulently.

VANDALISM

Cabin Rd. SE, 300 block, 8:30 p.m. Sept. 29. Eggs were thrown at a residence.

Maple Ave. SE, 300 block, 3:40 p.m. Sept. 18. A vehicle in a parking lot was dented.

Roland St. and Carter Ct. SW, 11:30 p.m. Sept. 27 to 6:30 a.m. Sept. 28. A community mailbox was knocked over.
