Cherek Dr. and Sebrell St., 7:25 p.m. July 16. A man walked up to a 27-year-old woman walking with a stroller and touched her inappropriately.

INDECENT EXPOSURE

Bradlick Shopping Center, 6900 block, 11:10 a.m. July 22. A man was observed exposing himself. A 55-year-old man of no fixed address was charged with indecent exposure.

Tysons Corner Center, 7900 block, 12:50 p.m. July 23. A man took photos of a 15-year-old girl trying on clothes in store’s changing room. A 23-year-old Maryland man was charged with unlawful filming.

WO&D Trail, 6:10 p.m. July 23. Two men approached a 31-year-old man riding his bike on the trail. They robbed him of jewelry and his bicycle.

MOUNT VERNON DISTRICT
ASSAULTS

Lockheed Blvd., 3400 block, 9:20 p.m. July 18. A 34-year-old man observed several juveniles with what appeared to be a handgun, and he asked them for it. A 13-year-old boy brandished the gun, and the other juveniles assaulted the man. Minor injuries were reported. Five boys, ages 16, 15, 13 and two age 12, were released to their parents with charges pending. A 13-year-old boy was charged with mob assault, brandishing on school grounds and trespassing.

ROBBERIES

Buckman Rd. and Rolling Hills Ave., 11 p.m. July 19. A man grabbed a purse from a 47-year-old female pedestrian, but she was able to hold on to it. The man then took her headphones and fled.

Richmond Hwy., 6400 block, 11:30 p.m. July 19. Two men answered a knock on the door and were confronted by three males, one with a handgun. They robbed the males of cash and a cellphone, then fled.

Sparrow Dr., 3300 block, 11:40 p.m. July 19. Two men robbed a 16-year-old boy of cash and a cellphone.

Camden St., 8400 block, 11 a.m. July 24. A residence was entered through an unlocked door.

Hackamore Lane, 1800 block. A wallet was stolen from a business.

ASSAULTS

Southern Oak Dr., 7600 block, 6 a.m. July 20. A fight broke out between two men. A 43-year-old man struck a 49-year-old man with a stick. The 49-year-old man then shot the 43-year-old man. Both men were treated at a hospital.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Carmelo Dr., 4300 block. Jewelry was stolen from a residence.

Charles Thompson Lane, 7900 block, 1:50 p.m. July 19. Jewelry was stolen from a residence.

Fullerton Ct., 7500 block. Catalytic converters were stolen from vehicles.

Fullerton Rd., 7600 block. A computer was stolen from a residence.

Lindsay St., 5200 block. An ornament was stolen from a residence.

Main St., 9500 block. 3 a.m. July 21. Police, responding to an alarm at a school, found two men exiting the building. A 20-year-old Annandale man and a 21-year-old Fairfax man were charged with unlawful entry.

ROBBERIES

Pickett Rd., 3900 block, 10:30 p.m. July 18. A man with a box cutter threatened a male at a bus stop and robbed him of his cellphone. A 49-year-old man of no fixed address was charged with robbery.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Fairfax Blvd., 10400 block, 12:15 a.m. July 14. Two males did not have the money to pay for their meals at a restaurant. One promised to return with the cash but did not. The man was identified and a warrant charging him with defrauding an innkeeper was issued.

Lee Hwy., 11000 block, May 1 to July 8. An employee generated store gift cards and used them to make purchases on the company’s Web site and at another store. A 19-year-old Chantilly man was charged with felony embezzlement.

Main St., 10300 block, June 22, June 23 and June 25. A man and a woman paid for merchandise using checks written on a closed account. Attempts to contact them were unsuccessful. A 35-year-old Reston woman was charged with felony bad check and a 39-year-old Reston man was charged with misdemeanor bad check.

Main St., 10500 block, 1:13 a.m. July 17. An untended purse containing cash, checks, credit cards and jewelry, was stolen from a restaurant. A 20-year-old Fairfax City man was charged with grand larceny.

Main St., 10900 block, 11:37 p.m. July 17. Police saw a man in a convenience store parking lot asking people for money. Investigation revealed that he had taken merchandise from the store. A 46-year-old Herndon man was charged with petty larceny, unlawful begging and public drunkenness.

Mosby Woods Dr. and Plantation Pkwy., 9 a.m. July 19 to 7:57 p.m. July 20. License plates were stolen from a vehicle.

Oxford Lane, 4100 block, 11 p.m. July 19 to 6 a.m. July 20. Two watches, sunglasses and clothing were stolen from a vehicle.

Rebel Run, 3500 block, 8:45 to 11 a.m. July 22. An iPhone and cash were stolen from a locker in a high school.

Whitehead St., 10400 block, 7 a.m. July 14. Two metal signs were taken from a post in a parking lot.

VANDALISM

Fairfax Blvd., 9500 block, noon July 13 to 2:59 p.m. July 15. Tires on two vehicles were slashed and license plates were damaged.

Fairfax Blvd., 9600 block, 7 to 7:14 a.m. July 18. A tire on a vehicle in a parking lot was punctured.

Washington St. S., 800 block, July 17. A man exposed himself in the parking lot of a convenience store.

ASSAULTS

Broad St. W., 300 block, July 17. A 26-year-old man of no fixed address was arrested in connection with an assault and battery incident. He also was charged with public drunkenness.

Broad St. W., 1200 block, July 18. A 57-year-old District man was arrested in connection with an assault. He was charged with assault and battery and shoplifting.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Broad St. E., 1000 block, July 15. A wallet and a computer were stolen from a vehicle entered by breaking a side window.

Grove Ave., 300 block, July 17. Two unsecured bicycles were stolen from a residence.

Little Falls St., 200 block, July 16. An unsecured bicycle was stolen from a community center.

Wilson Blvd., 6700 block, July 20. A wallet was stolen from an unlocked vehicle.

VANDALISM

Cameron Rd. W., 100 block, July 20. A decorative fence was damaged.

Ellison St., 1200 block, July 20. Household items were damaged.

Poplar Dr., 700 block, July 21. A utility line at a residence was cut.

ASSAULTS

Alabama Dr., 900 block, 618 p.m. July 21. A person struck an male acquaintance with a beer bottle. The injured man was treated at a hospital.

Elden St., 1200 block, July 20. A simple assault was reported.

Locust St., 800 block, July 17. A simple assault was reported. A 31-year-old woman was charged with simple domestic assault.

Snowflake Ct., 1500 block, July 20. A simple assault was reported.

ROBBERIES

Elden St., 1000 block, July 24. Three men displayed a gun and attempted to rob a clerk at the drive-through at a fast-food restaurant. They were unsuccessful and left. A short time later, the same men entered a fast-food restaurant in the 300 block of Elden St., brandished firearms and demanded cash from a clerk. They also took a cellphone from a customer. A 19-year-old Chantilly man, and two Aldie men, 18 and 19, were charged with armed robbery, attempted armed robbery, abduction and wearing a mask and using a firearm in the commission of a felony.

Dulles Park Ct., 600 block, July 21. A residential burglary was reported.

Elden St., 1000 block, July 19. A theft from a building was reported.

Elden St., 1200 block, July 21. A shoplifting incident was reported.

Elden St., 400 block, July 16. A shoplifting incident was reported. A 29-year-old woman was charged with larceny.

Cottage St. SW, 900 block, 10:30 a.m. July 14 to 10:30 a.m. July 21. Several light fixtures were stolen from an unoccupied residence, causing damage in the basement.

Country Club Dr. NE, 900 block, 9 a.m. July 23 to 10:25 a.m. July 24. Charges were made on a woman’s credit card without her knowledge or permission.

Maple Ave. W., 300 block, 9 a.m. July 11 to 9 a.m. July 29. A woman lent her vehicle to a co-worker, and the co-worker has ignored her requests to return the vehicle. The woman also reported that petty cash was missing from the business.

Meadow Lane SW, 400 block, midnight July 7 to 3:21 p.m. July 22. Front wheel covers were stolen from a vehicle in the driveway of a residence.

Mill St. NE, 200 block, 1 to 4 p.m. July 21. Several sheets of drywall were stolen from a parking lot of a business.

Park St. SE, 600 block, 7:30 a.m. July 18 to 2:37 p.m. July 21. A residence was entered while the residents were out of town.
