ASSAULTS

Columbia Pike, 7100 block, 2:15 a.m. Aug. 17. Two men assaulted three men and then fled. Minor injuries were reported.

Glen Carlyn Dr., 3300 block, 12:25 p.m. Aug. 21. A man pointed a handgun at a 41-year-old man. The gunman fled.

Arlington Blvd., 6100 block. A wallet and a cellphone were stolen from a business.

ASSAULTS

Old Lee Hwy., 3200 block, 1:25 p.m. Aug. 13. A man assaulted the manager of a homeless center and damaged property. A 44-year-old man of no fixed address was charged with assault and destruction of property.

ROBBERIES

Berry St., 11000 block, 3:30 p.m. Aug. 16. A male and two juveniles assaulted a 13-year-old male, robbed him of cash and ripped an earring from his ear. A 20-year-old male of no fixed address was charged with abduction, robbery and contributing to the delinquency of a minor. Two 14-year-old males were charged with abduction and robbery.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Chain Bridge Rd., 3900 block, July 17. A business manager reported that a former employee made an unauthorized charge on the company’s credit card.

Chain Bridge Rd., 4000 block, Aug. 8 to Aug. 11. Seven parking signs were stolen from a parking lot at the rear of a business.

Fairfax Blvd., 9400 block, July 31 to Aug. 1. A bicycle was stolen from outside a business.

Fairfax Blvd., 9400 block, Aug. 7 to Aug. 13. Car parts were stolen from two vehicles at a business.

Fairfax Blvd., 9800 block, 6:50 p.m. Aug. 15. Two lockers at a racquet club were entered. A lock and a wallet were stolen from one, and a lock was stolen from the other.

Fairfax Blvd., 10800 block, Aug. 4 and Aug. 6. A female said her motel room was entered on two occasions without her permission.

Judicial Dr., 10600 block, 10 a.m. to noon Aug. 15. A cellphone was stolen from an employee’s lunch bag in a dental office. The cellphone carrying case contained identification and debit cards.

Main St., 9600 block, 1:45 to 2:40 p.m. Aug. 18. A male and a female concealed merchandise in a bag and left a store without paying.

Ranger Rd., 10300 block, 10:30 p.m. Aug. 17 to 7 a.m. Aug. 18. A license plate was stolen from a vehicle.

VANDALISM

Commons Dr. NW, 200 block, 3:19 a.m. Aug. 16. A person observed a male crouching next to his vehicle, and it appeared he was trying to steal a wheel. The male was gone when police arrived.

Saint Andrews Dr. NE, 100 block, 8 p.m. Aug. 18 to 9:30 a.m. Aug. 19. The tires on two vehicles were deflated.
