ABDUCTIONS

Annandale Rd., 2900 block, Sept. 4. A man grabbed a 48-year-old woman from behind and pulled her behind a tree. The woman pushed away from him when another person walked nearby.

ASSAULTS

Allen St., 3100 block, Aug. 29. Two people assaulted a 45-year-old male pedestrian. The injured male was treated at a hospital.

Chain Bridge Rd., 4000 block, 10:55 p.m. Aug. 29. A man accosted a 22-year-old woman at a restaurant. A 27-year-old Fairfax man was charged with assault and battery and public drunkenness.

Hill St., 3800 block, 11 p.m. Sept. 1 to 2:10 p.m. Sept. 2. Medications were stolen from a purse in a residence.

Layton Hall Dr., 10300 block, Aug. 27 to Aug. 28. A gold ring was stolen from an apartment.

Main St., 9800 block, 4 p.m. Aug. 28 to 8:32 a.m. Aug. 29. Cash and credit cards were stolen from a vehicle. One of the credit cards was used to make unauthorized purchases.

Maple St., 10700 block, Aug. 26 to Sept. 1. U.S. flags were stolen from the front porch of a residence and a pole in the yard.

Old Lee Hwy., 3700 block, 2 to 4:27 p.m. Aug. 29. A cellphone, left on a desk in an elementary school classroom, was stolen.

Orchard St., 10600 block, noon to 7 p.m. Aug. 31. Hardware, building supplies and other items were stolen from the open carport of a residence.

University Dr., 3900 block, 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. Sept. 1. A cellphone, left on a table in a restaurant, was stolen.

VANDALISM

Draper Dr., 3100 block, 12:35 p.m. Sept. 3. A tire on a vehicle left at a business was punctured some time during the past month.

Main St., 10700 block, 8 p.m. Aug. 27 to 11:30 a.m. Aug. 28. A rear window of a vehicle at an apartment complex was broken.

Stafford Dr., 3300 block, 9 a.m. to 1:04 Sept. 1. Paint on a vehicle was scratched.
