Brandon Ave., 6400 block, Sept. 25. Electronic equipment was stolen from a store entered by forcing a door.

Cindy Lane, 7000 block. A laptop computer was stolen from a school.

Lee Masey Dr., 9200 block, 2:09 p.m. Sept. 24. An intoxicated man attempted to enter a residence through a door, but a resident pushed him out and locked the door. The man then attempted to enter an elementary school, but an employee would not let him inside. An 18-year-old Lorton man was charged with burglary.

Loisdale Rd., 7900 block. Construction material was stolen from a construction site.

Rhondda Dr., 7300 block, Sept. 22. Electronic equipment was stolen from a residence.

Saint Giles Way, 5900 block. Furniture was stolen from a residence.

Dartford Dr., 7300 block, Sept. 20. Jewelry, cash and personal items were stolen from a residence entered by forcing a door.

Aspen Dr. and Buckman Rd., 11:15 p.m. Sept. 23. Three men, one with a handgun, robbed a 20-year-old male pedestrian of personal property.

Richmond Hwy., 7600 block, Sept. 23. A man assaulted a 44-year-old store employee, took merchandise and fled.

Richmond Hwy., 7700 block, 4:45 p.m. Sept. 23. Two men, one with a handgun, robbed a 54-year-old man of his car keys as he was parking his car and then fled.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Fairfax Blvd., 10400 block, Sept. 17. A dealer license plate was stolen from a vehicle in an auto dealership parking lot.

Fairfax Blvd., 10900 block, 10 a.m. to 5:05 p.m. Sept. 22. Two wallets containing credit and debit cards and identification were stolen from a purse in a vehicle. One of the stolen cards was used to make an unauthorized purchase.

Fairfax Blvd., 11100 block, noon Aug. 19 to noon Aug. 21. A gold ring was stolen from a hotel room.

Fairfax Sq., 3900 block, 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sept. 24. A laptop computer, an iPhone, an iPod, an Xbox and calculators were stolen from a residence.

Lee Hwy., 11100 block, 10:42 a.m. Sept. 23. A gas station employee observed a man taking cigarettes from a display case. A 32-year-old Sterling man was charged with shoplifting.

Lyndhurst Dr., 3800 block, June 4. A woman discovered that her identity was used to open an account in California when a collection agency called her.

Main St., 9600 block, 8:13 p.m. Sept. 19. A female in a store was observed concealing merchandise in her purse and coat.

Main St., 10800 block, noon to 1 p.m. Sept. 21. A cellphone that had been left in a store was stolen.

Old Lee Hwy., 3200 block, 4:17 p.m. Sept. 15. A store security officer observed a man taking merchandise to the return counter and using a receipt from another purchase to obtain cash for the items. A 54-year-old Manassas man was charged with shoplifting.

Sager Ave., 10200 block, Sept. 18 or Sept. 19. License plates were stolen from a vehicle.

University Dr., 3900 block, 4:34 p.m. Sept. 21. A woman concealed beer in her bag and left a convenience store. A 55-year-old Fairfax woman was charged with petty larceny.

MOTOR VEHICLE THEFTS

Main St., 9600 block, 4:30 to 7:10 a.m. Sept. 18. A 2001 Chevrolet Express van was stolen from a parking lot.
