Mount Vernon Square Center, 7400 block, 4:50 p.m. Sept. 26. A man standing between two vehicles in a parking lot exposed himself to a 24-year-old female pedestrian. He fled when she called police.

ROBBERIES

Huntington Ave., 2200 block, 7:56 p.m. Sept. 29. Three men assaulted a 41-year-old male pedestrian and robbed him of cash. Minor injuries were reported.

Madge Lane, 8400 block, 11:50 p.m. Sept. 27. Two men accosted a 36-year-old male pedestrian. One man assaulted the pedestrian, and they took property from him. Minor injuries were reported.

Meredith Dr., 3800 block, 7:56 p.m. Sept. 27. A person grabbed a 39-year-old man and punched him in the face, then fled on a bicycle. The man was treated at a medical facility.

Fairfax Blvd., 9600 block, 8:48 a.m. Sept. 28. A man grabbed two cartons of cigarettes from a counter in a convenience store and fled on foot.

Fairfax Blvd., 10000 block, 10:31 a.m. Sept. 28. A male grabbed two cartons of cigarettes from a counter in a pharmacy and fled.

Jermantown Rd., 3600 block, 10:05 a.m. Sept. 23. A woman said her identity was used to open a satellite TV service in Richmond. She discovered it when a collection agency called her.

Jermantown Rd., 3700 block, Sept. 17 and Sept. 18. A man said his credit card information was used to make purchases in New Jersey and Spain.

Main St., 9600 block, 2:30 p.m. Sept. 23. A wallet containing cash, identification and credit cards was stolen from a shopping cart. One of the credit cards was subsequently used to make purchases at several businesses.

Perry St., 3500 block, 8 p.m. Sept. 25 to 9:30 a.m. Sept. 26. Six credit cards were stolen from an unlocked vehicle in the driveway of a residence.

West Dr., 10700 block, May 29 to Sept. 23. A person’s debit card number was used to make several purchases.

MOTOR VEHICLE THEFTS

Fairfax Blvd., 10400 block, 7:35 p.m. Sept. 25. A man took a Subaru Outback for a test drive and did not return the vehicle. A warrant was obtained charging a 27-year-old man with auto theft.

University Dr., 3900 block, 5:45 p.m. Sept. 26. A 2013 Hyundai Elantra was stolen from a parking lot.

VANDALISM

Main St., 9600 block, 5 p.m. Sept. 29 to 9:59 a.m. Sept. 30. Graffiti were painted on the corner of a building.

Main St., 9600 block, 4:06 a.m. Sept. 30. Graffiti were painted next to a store.

Main St., 10900 block, 9:10 p.m. Sept. 29. A male punched a glass pane in the front of a restaurant during an altercation with other people.

Alabama Dr. and Florida Ave., Sept. 29. A man attempted to stab a person with a machete during an argument. The man was charged with attempted malicious wounding.

Alabama Dr., 1000 block, 2:21 a.m. Sept. 29. A simple assault was reported.

Cypress Tree Pl., 5:07 p.m. Sept. 26. A simple assault was reported.

Dulles Park Ct., 600 block, Sept. 29. A 17-year-old juvenile was arrested in connection with a domestic assault, assault on a law enforcement officer and underage possession of alcohol.

Elden St., 1200 block, 8:29 p.m. Sept. 29. A simple assault was reported.

Elden St., 1200 block, Sept. 29. A man attempted to strangle the mother of his child. The woman had visible injuries. A 21-year-old man was charged with aggravated assault.

Reneau Way, 300 block, 7:12 p.m. Sept. 24. A simple assault was reported.

Summerset Pl., 1400 block, Sept. 24. Several people forced their way into a home and robbed two people at gunpoint. Herndon police and the Northern Virginia Gang Task Force have made five arrests. More arrests are pending.
