Marshall Rd., 700 block, 1:30 a.m. Nov. 12. Police, received a report of a man sleeping in a trailer at a school. A 30-year-old District man was charged with unlawful entry.

ASSAULTS

Columbia Pike, 6500 block, 9:16 p.m. Nov. 13. A driver refused to sign a summons when stopped for traffic violations. During his arrest, the driver assaulted the police officer. A 24-year-old Falls Church man was charged with assault on police, possession of marijuana, unauthorized vehicle equipment, obstructed view within a vehicle and no seatbelt.

ROBBERIES

Gallows and Gatehouse roads, Nov. 11. A person assaulted a food delivery woman as she was getting items out of her car. The person robbed her of cash and fled on foot.

Hartland Rd. and Prescott Dr., Nov. 10. Two people stopped a male pedestrian and demanded cash. The male did not have cash; they assaulted him and took his bag and cellphone. Minor injuries were reported.

Leesburg Pike, 8300 block, Nov. 8. A man and a woman were stopped for shoplifting. The man ran from police but was stopped a short distance away. A 34-year-old Haymarket woman was charged with larceny. A 41-year-old Stone Ridge man was charged with petty larceny, providing false information to law enforcement, false identity and possession of burglary tools.

Metropolitan Pl., 7000 block, 2:19 p.m. Nov. 12. A man attempted to open a door of a residence but fled when he saw someone in the home.

Nigh Rd., 7400 block. A leaf blower was stolen from a vehicle.

Nutley St., 3000 block. A wallet was stolen from a business.

Seven Corners Center, 6200 block. Detergent was stolen from a business.

Tysons Corner Center, 7900 block. A stroller was stolen from a vehicle.

Chain Bridge Rd., 3900 block, 1:45 a.m. Nov. 10. A purse containing an iPhone was stolen from a bar in a restaurant.

Chain Bridge Rd., 4000 block, 10 to 10:43 p.m. Nov. 7. An untended wallet was stolen from a table in a restaurant. The wallet was found in the parking lot. A 25-year-old Fairfax woman was charged with petty larceny.

Fairfax Blvd., 9500 block, 12:07 a.m. Sept. 11. Police, responding to an burglar alarm at a business, found that a display window was broken and a bicycle was stolen. A 51-year-old Fairfax City man was charged with burglary and grand larceny.

Fairfax Blvd., 10300 block, 10 p.m. Nov. 7 to 10 p.m. Nov. 8. Two buffet steamers were stolen from a restaurant’s outside storage area.

First St., 10000 block, March 17 to Nov. 12. A man reported that he contracted and made payments for major construction his home that has not been completed. The subcontractors have not been paid for their work, and the homeowner has not been able to contact the contractor for two months. The investigation is continuing.

Jermantown Rd., 3800 block, Oct. 25. An iPhone was stolen from a book bag at a middle school.

Main St., 9600 block, 7 to 8:08 p.m. Nov. 8. A sweater containing a key and a wallet with cash, identification and credit cards, left on a bench near a basketball court, was stolen.

Main St., 9600 block, Nov. 5. A cellphone was stolen from a fitness center.

Roberts Rd., 4000 block, March 28 to Nov. 5. A person’s identity was used to open several unauthorized charge accounts.

Fairfax Blvd., 9900 block, 4 p.m. Nov. 6 to 4 p.m. Nov. 7. A moped, chained to a light post, was stolen.

VANDALISM

Crescence Way, 9800 block, midnight to 12:02 p.m. Nov. 9. The rear window of a vehicle was shattered.

Hume Ave. and Stryker’s Square, 5 p.m. Nov. 7 to 5:48 p.m. Nov. 11. Tires were punctured on three vehicles in a rear parking lot.

Jenny Lynne Lane and Chain Bridge Rd., 10 p.m. Nov. 11 to 1:14 p.m. Nov. 12. Wooden posts of stop signs were broken off at ground level.

Warwick Ave., 10600 block, 6 p.m. Nov. 8 to 9:38 a.m. Nov. 11. Graffiti were spray- painted on a rear fence of a business.
