Ecumenical Community Helping Others (ECHO) in Springfield needs volunteers to help sort and pack donated school supplies for backpacks to needy families. ECHO also needs a volunteer to co-chair the supervision of three food donation drives by other organizations for ECHO’s food pantry. The St. Mark English as a Second Language program needs volunteers to help adult learners master the English language, prepare to become U.S. citizens and acclimate to U.S. culture. The RISE Mentoring Program needs volunteer mentors to provide positive role models for teenagers within the Falls Church Juvenile and Domestic Relations Court and the Aurora House group home for girls.
