INDECENT EXPOSURE INCIDENTS

Little River Tpk., 7000 block, 7 p.m. Jan. 23. A man exposed himself to three juveniles. A 40-year-old Falls Church man was charged with indecent exposure.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Backlick Rd., 6400 block. Jumper cables were stolen from a business.

Heming Ave., 5600 block. A bicycle was stolen from a residence.

Indian Run Pkwy., 6300 block. Tools were stolen from a vehicle.

Kingstowne Towne Center, 5900 block. Disposable diapers and laundry detergent were stolen from a business.

Loisdale Rd., 6400 block. Two electronic devices were stolen from a business.

Terminal Rd., 8100 block. Credit cards were stolen from a business.

MASON DISTRICT
ASSAULTS

Patrick Henry Dr., 3000 block, 11:50 p.m. Jan. 19. Responding to a report of disorderly contact, a police officer was attacked by a woman who had been in a dispute with two others. The three people involved, all from Falls Church, were arrested. A 26-year-old woman was charged with assault on a police officer and public drunkenness. A 38-year-old man was charged with disorderly conduct and public drunkenness. A 33-year-old woman was charged with obstruction of justice.

ROBBERIES

Arlington Blvd., 6100 block, 12:10 p.m. Jan. 20. Three men accosted a 34-year-old man and robbed him of cash. The injured man was treated at a hospital.

Leesburg Pike, 4800 block, 8:45 a.m. Jan. 19. A motorist in a parking lot struck a vehicle from behind, then took property from the other vehicle and drove away. A 30-year-old Springfield man was later arrested on charges including robbery, assault, leaving the scene of an accident and illegal drug possession.

Manitoba Dr., 4800 block, 3:20 p.m. Jan. 23. Three men who had broken into a vacant apartment fled empty-handed when confronted by a maintenance worker.

Payne St., 3400 block, 2:30 a.m. Jan. 19. An occupied residence was entered by breaking a window. A 27-year-old Falls Church man was arrested at the scene on charges that included unlawful entry, destruction of property and public drunkenness.

SEXUAL ASSAULTS

Lake Royal area, Jan. 20. A woman reported she had been sexually assaulted by an acquaintance in late 2012. The incident is under investigation.

ASSAULTS

Kite St., 9300 block, 5:45 p.m. Jan. 7. During a dispute, a woman was stabbed by an acquaintance. She was treated at a hospital. The assailant has been identified, and an investigation was ongoing.

ROBBERIES

Minstead Ct., 9600 block, 3:30 p.m. Jan. 18. A person threatened a male juvenile and demanded cash, then robbed him of a key and walked away.

Rutledge Dr., 6600 block, 11:35 p.m. Jan. 20. Three males invited into the home of a male acquaintance robbed him of shoes at knifepoint. A 16-year-old male was charged with robbery. An investigation was ongoing.

Allman Dr., 7500 block, 3:35 p.m. Jan. 22. A video game system was stolen from a residence.

Carrleigh Pkwy., 8200 block, 5:35 p.m. Jan. 22. Several video games were stolen from a residence entered through an unlocked door.

Chain Bridge Rd., 4300 block, 9:30 p.m. Jan. 13 to 7:27 a.m. Jan. 14. A purse was stolen from a vehicle entered by breaking a window. A window of a nearby vehicle also was broken, but nothing was reported missing.

Eaton Pl., 10400 block, Jan. 2. Cash and checks were stolen from an office entered by damaging a front door.

Fairfax Blvd., 9400 block, 4:24 a.m. Jan. 20. Two males fled a taxi without paying the fare.

Hill St., 3700 block, Jan. 1 to Jan. 19. Patio furniture was stolen from the back porch of a residence.

Lisa Ct., 1100 block, 8 p.m. Jan. 20. A 28-year-old Herndon man was charged with assault.

Virginia Ave., 400 block, 10:52 a.m. Jan. 20. A 30-year-old Herndon man was charged with assault. He was also arrested on an illegal drug possession charge.

Wilkes Ct., 2100 block, 10:58 p.m. Jan. 17. A person attacked an acquaintance. No serious injuries were reported.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Alton Sq., 12000 block, 5:20 p.m. Jan. 15 to 7:40 a.m. Jan. 16. An iPhone charger was stolen from a vehicle. The victim also reported the Dec. 26 theft of a firearm, which was taken from an unlocked vehicle.

Elden St., 400 block, 7:54 p.m. Jan. 17. Two juveniles tried to steal hair-care products from a business.

Elden St., 400 block, 8 p.m. Jan. 14. A person tried to steal a bouquet of flowers from a business.

Elden St., 1200 block, 1:33 p.m. Jan. 19. A bottle of vodka was stolen from a business.

Monroe St., 1300 block, 2:06 p.m. Jan. 14. A cellphone was stolen from a residence. An acquaintance of the victim was seen fleeing with the property.

VANDALISM

Florida Ave., 500 block, 12:49 p.m. Jan. 20. A residence was ransacked. An acquaintance of an occupant is a suspect in the incident.

Lexus Way, 1000 block, 2 p.m. Jan. 7 to 7 a.m. Jan. 17. The paint-surfaces of three vehicles were scratched with a sharp object.

Park Ave., 900 block, 9:44 p.m. Jan. 14. Graffiti were found in the area.

Maple Ave. E., 200 block, 5 to 7 p.m. Jan. 19. A mountain bike was stolen from the rear of a shopping center.

Maple Ave. E., 300 block, 6:25 p.m. Jan. 21. A grocery-store employee detained a person who had wheeled a cart full of merchandise to the parking lot. The property was recovered. An investigation was ongoing.

West St. NE, 200 block, 6 to 8 p.m. Jan. 11. A delivered package was stolen from a residence.

VANDALISM

Moore Ave. SW, 100 block, 12:01 to 8 a.m. Jan. 20. The lid of a recycling bin was damaged.
