Chain Bridge and Miller Roads, 7:10 p.m. Feb. 1. When a man demanded cash from a woman in line to use an ATM, she triggered a car alarm and he fled empty-handed.

Mount Eagle Park, 7:40 a.m. Feb. 4. A man attacked a pedestrian and robbed her of cash and property. The victim was treated at a hospital.

MOTOR VEHICLE THEFTS

Braddock Rd., 10600 block, 11 p.m. Feb. 3. A vehicle was stolen from in front of a residence. It was seen at a nearby business and, after a short chase, the vehicle was stopped, and three men were arrested on charges of grand larceny and driving at a speed to elude. A 20-year-old Fairfax man was also charged with receiving stolen goods, possession of a concealed weapon, obstruction and possession of marijuana. An 18-year-old Fairfax man was also charged with credit-card uttering, credit-card forgery and driving on a revoked license. A second 18-year-old Fairfax man was also charged with credit-card uttering and credit-card forgery.

Braddock Rd., 10600 block. A Toyota Highlander was stolen.

Milwood Cir., 6300 block. A 2005 Chevrolet Tahoe was stolen.

SEXUAL ASSAULTS

Chain Bridge Rd., 4200 block, 10:18 a.m. Jan. 30. A man walked up behind a pedestrian, then groped her and fled.

ASSAULTS

Main St., 9400 block, 11:12 a.m. Jan. 30. A male shoved an employee and ran from a pharmacy after being confronted about concealing merchandise inside his jacket. A suspect has been identified, and charges of assault and battery and petty larceny are pending.

Assembly Dr., 10500 block, Jan. 23. A computer-fraud incident was reported.

Fairfax Blvd., 9400 block, 1 p.m. Feb. 4. A credit card that was used in a restaurant was not returned to a customer. The card subsequently was used to make unauthorized purchases.

Fairfax Blvd., 9600 block, 3:02 p.m. Jan. 31. A man concealed a bottle of beer in his pocket, then walked out of a convenience store. A 53-year-old Reston man was charged with petty larceny and public drunkenness.

Jermantown Rd., 4000 block, 3:52 p.m. Jan. 30. Two men tried to leave a store without paying for merchandise. Two Alexandria men, 18 and 19, were charged with petty larceny and with providing false identification.

Jermantown Rd.,4000 block, 7:41 p.m. Feb. 3. Three females grabbed clothes and ran from a store.

Main St., 9600 block, 4:02 p.m. Jan. 31. A man tried to purchase merchandise with false credit information, then fled a store when confronted. A 41-year-old New York man was charged with attempted fraud. He also was arrested on a parole violation.

Main St., 9800 block, Jan. 26. A woman said her credit-card information was used to make unauthorized purchases at a store.

Old Pickett Rd., 3200 block, 1 to 11:54 a.m. Feb. 3. A laptop computer, cash and bottles of liquor were stolen from a restaurant.

Roberts Rd., 4100 block, Jan. 18 to Feb. 2. Two rings were stolen from a residence.

Willard Way, 10300 block, 12:34 p.m. Feb. 2. A man stole an alcoholic beverage from a liquor store. A 51-year-old Alexandria man was charged with petty larceny.

Willard Way, 10300 block, 3:43 p.m. Feb. 2. Responding to a report of a disturbance at a bus stop, police found a man with a bottle of liquor that had been stolen from a store. A 46-year-old Reston man was charged with petty larceny and public drunkenness.

ROBBERIES

Alabama Dr., 1200 block, 3:30 a.m. Feb. 3. Two males followed a pedestrian a short distance, then tried to take her purse. During a struggle, she screamed, which attracted the attention of a police officers on foot patrol. A 24-year-old Herndon man was charged with robbery and possession of false identification.

Elden St., 1000 block, 3:33 p.m. Jan. 30 to 9:20 p.m. Jan. 31. A 27-year-old Arlington County man was arrested on charges that included robbery use of a firearm in the commission of a felony.

Elden St., 400 block, 4:24 p.m. Jan. 30. A person tried to steal groceries from a business, then fled empty-handed.
