ROBBERIES

Leesburg Pike, 5700 block, 4:20 p.m. March 13. A man demanded cash from a man, then cut him with a sharp object when he refused to give him cash. A 43-year-old Alexandria man was charged with robbery and malicious wounding.

ASSAULTS

Convair Dr., 7400 block, 10:45 p.m. March 8. Responding to a report of a fight in progress, police arrested a 20-year-old Alexandria man on charges of assault on a police officer, destruction of property, disorderly conduct and public drunkenness.

Russell Rd., 8200 block, 9:50 p.m. March 13. During a dispute at a residence, a man threatened an acquaintance. A 27-year-old Alexandria area man was arrested on charges that included assault on a police officer and obstruction of justice.

El Cerrito Pl., 3800 block. A jacket and car keys were stolen from a residence.

Highland Lane, 8500 block. Portable radios were stolen from a school.

Village Way, 8600 block, 6:20 p.m. March 9. Nine juveniles were found trespassing inside a vacant residence. An investigation of possible damages was ongoing.

MOTOR VEHICLE THEFTS

Richmond Hwy., 8600 block, 9:40 p.m. March 12. A man stole a vehicle from a gas station, then refused to stop for police. After a brief pursuit, the man stopped the vehicle. A 19-year-old Alexandria man was arrested on charges that included motor vehicle theft and traffic offenses.

PEEPING TOM INCIDENTS

Alston Pl., 1400 block, 9:30 p.m. March 13. A male was seen looking inside a residence. He walked away when confronted.

Coppermine Rd., 13400 block, 2:50 a.m. March 11. A man wearing a mask threatened a clerk and a robbed a business of cash.

Lafayette Forest and Patriot Drives, 5:55 P.M. March 12. A man sitting in a vehicle exposed himself to a jogger.

Little River Tpk., 7600 block, 3:45 p.m. March 7. A building engineer fought with a man who had entered a phone-control room and identified himself as a contractor.

ROBBERIES

Braddock Rd., 9500 block, 2:25 p.m. March 8. A person threatened a person working at a pharmacy, then fled with several medications.

Marin Woods Ct., 7600 block, 1:40 a.m. March 9. A man pushed a man walking his dog and tried to steal his wallet. After a brief struggle, the assailant fled empty-handed.

Chain Bridge Rd., 3500 block, 12:49 p.m. March 11. A purse containing a cellphone, cash and credit cards was stolen from a restroom at a gas station. One of the credit cards was used to make an unauthorized purchase.

Fairfax Blvd., 9500 block, 3:04 a.m. March 6. Six males carried a table out of a doughnut shop, placed it in a vehicle and drove away.

Fairfax Blvd., 9500 block, 5:25 p.m. March 8. A male offered a man in a parking lot a new laptop computer at a reduced price, then fled with the man’s cash before he opened the box and discovered it held a broken computer.

Fairfax Blvd., 9600 block, 3:16 p.m. March 8. A male picked up his vehicle at an impound lot and drove away without paying the towing and storage fee.

Fairfax Blvd., 10400 block, 2:33 a.m. March 8. A customer left a restaurant without paying the bill.

Judicial Dr., 10600 block, March 7. Unauthorized transactions were made through a computer at an office. An investigation was ongoing.

Main St., 10300 block, 4:25 p.m. March 9. A woman concealed merchandise in her purse, then tried to walk out of a store. A 40-year-old Fairfax City area woman was charged with petty larceny.

Old Post Rd., 3500 block, Dec. 17 to March 8. Jewelry was stolen from a bedroom in a residence.

VANDALISM

Fairfax Blvd., 10000 block, 4:24 p.m. March 5. A man was seen knocking over a trash can in front of a store and then kicking the hood of a vehicle. He also set fire to a flag outside of the front of a restaurant. A 47-year-old Alexandria man was charged with destruction of property.

Lyndhurst Dr., 3800 block, 6 p.m. March 10 to 9:53 a.m. March 11. A vehicle was damaged by spray-paint and its tires were deflated.

Roosevelt Blvd., 500 block, March 9. A bicycle was stolen from a communal storage area.

Elden St., 1200 block, 11:56 a.m. March 5. A juvenile tried to shoplift merchandise from a business.

Herndon Pkwy., 900 block, 1 p.m. March 8. Two wallets were stolen from two offices at a business.

Wexford Ct., 1300 block, 11:30 a.m. Feb. 26 to 11:30 a.m. March 5. A break-in occurred at a residence. Nothing was reported missing.

Elden St., 1100 block, 1:25 a.m. March 4. A door was damaged at a business.

Herndon Pkwy., 600 block, 3:25 p.m. March 10. A fence was damaged.

Herndon Pkwy., 1200 block, 2:15 p.m. March 9 to 2:15 p.m. March 10. A net was damaged at a tennis court.
