ABDUCTIONS

Braddock Rd., 6800 block, 7:10 a.m. March 21. A man inspecting a building was attacked by a man he confronted in a women’s bathroom. The assailant fled, then was detained when he returned to get his vehicle. A 36-year-old Annandale man was arrested on charges that included abduction, assault and possession of burglary tools.

Russell Rd., 8200 block, 4:15 p.m. March 22. Two males robbed a pedestrian of her purse at gunpoint.

Fairfax St. E., 200 block, March 24. A man fled from a cab without paying the fare. A 24-year-old Falls Church man was charged with procuring a leased vehicle with intent to defraud, and with public drunkenness.

Elden St., 1000 block, 5:30 to 5:35 a.m. March 24. A cellphone was stolen from a motel room.

Elden St., 1200 block, 5:43 p.m. March 22. A 44-year-old Herndon man was charged with larceny.

Lynn St., 700 block, 3:39 p.m. March 23. A large sign was stolen from the town green.

Post Dr., 600 block, 2:05 p.m. March 21. A bottle of vodka was stolen from a business.

VANDALISM

Crestview Dr., 1100 block, 5:20 p.m. March 22. A vehicle’s paint-finish was scratched.

Dulles Park Ct., 600 block, 7 a.m. March 22. A mirror and the windshield of a motorcycle were damaged. The victim said that there had been three separate incidents in which the bike had been knocked over.

Maple Ave. W., 100 block, 3:30 to 8:26 p.m. March 27. Two credit cards were stolen and used to make unauthorized purchases.

Mill St. NE, 400 block, noon Jan. 3. A customer purchased building supplies with a check that was returned by the bank.

Yeonas Dr. SW, 200 block, March 1 to 25. A person discovered that his identity was used to open a credit card account when a collection agency contacted him about his delinquent account.

VANDALISM

Elm and Cottage Streets SW, 9:19 a.m. March 23. Two street signs were ripped out of the ground.

Harmony Dr. SW, 200 block, 7:30 p.m. March 22 to 10:44 a.m. March 23. An unlocked vehicle was entered.
