ASSAULTS

Barcroft View Terr., 3600 block, 4:45 p.m. April 12. Officers were called concerning a fight. They stopped several juveniles leaving the area. There was not sufficient evidence to charge anyone, but two juveniles, 16 and 17, were charged with illegal possession of alcohol.

Barrett Rd., 6600 block, 5 a.m. April 14. Police responded to a domestic dispute between multiple occupants in a private residence. A 29-year-old man was charged with malicious wounding, arson and unlawful entry.

Barcroft View Terr., 3600 block, April 17. A stereo was stolen from a vehicle.

Charleston St., 3400 block, April 15. Tools were stolen from a vehicle.

Columbia Pike, 6500 block, April 15. A cellphone was stolen from a residence.

Oliver Ave., 3900 block, 4:50 a.m. April 13. A resident reported he heard a noise in the kitchen and saw a female exit the home. There was no sign of forced entry and nothing was reported missing.

Pennys Town Ct., 7100 block, April 18. A purse was stolen from a business.

Washington Dr., 3500 block 5:45 p.m. April 12. A resident reported someone entered the home and stole several items including jewelry. The residence was entered by forcing a window.

Seven Corners, 6300 block, April 15. A rear license plate was stolen from a vehicle.

Seven Corners Center, 6200 block, April 16. A knife and a pair of gloves were stolen from a business.

South George Mason Dr., 3800 block, April 15. Two packs of beer were stolen from a business.

South Jefferson St., 3500 block, April 16. Liquor was stolen from a business.

Southland Ave., 4600 block, 9:35 a.m. April 15. An employee reported someone entered a vacant apartment. The carpet was damaged, but there were no signs of forced entry.

VANDALISM

Camp Alger Ave., 7400 block, 10:40 a.m. April 15. A resident reported letters were written on a foot bridge. The owner was notified to remove the graffiti.

MCLEAN DISTRICT

ASSAULTS

Cedar Ln., 2700 block, 10:45 p.m. April 13. Officers responded to a report of a situation. While investigating, an 18-year-old Vienna man was arrested for being drunk in public. Officers learned he inappropriately grabbed a 25-year-old woman in the home. The man also was charged with assault, resisting arrest and sexual battery.

Boone Blvd., 8200 block, April 15. A wallet were stolen from a business.

Chain Bridge Rd., 1900 block, April 18. Sunglasses were stolen from a business.

Davidson Rd., 1600 block, 11:30 p.m. April 11. Officers responded to an alarm and found an open door. Two 18-year-olds were found inside and charged with trespassing.

Dellway Ln., 8600 block, April 15. A backpack was stolen from a residence.

Great Oak Ct., 2800 block, 7:45 p.m. April 11. A resident reported someone entered the home but nothing was stolen. Entry was made through an unsecured door.

ROBBERIES

Furman Ln., 2900 block, 12:25 a.m. April 16. Two men approached a 35-year-old man and robbed him of his wallet and cellphone and fled. The man received minor injuries.

Mint Pl., 7100 block, 10:35 p.m. April 14. A 37-year-old said a group of six or seven juveniles approached him, brandished a knife and demanded money. The man told them he did not have any and walked away.

Lockheed Blvd., 3300 block, 10:50 p.m. April 14. A 62-year-old said a group of eight juveniles approached him, brandished a knife and demanded money. He handed them his wallet and they fled.

Richmond Hwy., 7200 block, 2:40 p.m. April 15. A 17-year-old boy said three male teenagers approached him, struck him several times and stole his cellphone. The victim was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.

SEXUAL ASSAULTS

Richmond Hwy., 8200 block, 3:20 p.m. April 12. A 21-year-old said a man approached her from behind, touched her inappropriately and fled.

Felton Ln., 8400 block, April 12. A backpack and wallet were stolen from a vehicle .

Fielding St., 4000 block, April 12. A license plate and license plate holder were stolen from a vehicle.

George Washington Memorial Parkway, 6400 block, April 12. A purse was stolen from a vehicle .

Greta Ct., 8200 block,3 a.m April 14. A resident said someone entered the apartment and stole clothes. Entry was made through an unlocked door.

Harrison Ln., 7100 block, 7:25 p.m. April 12. A resident said someone entered the home and stole several items, including clothing. A rear door had been forced open.

Highland Ln., 8505 block, 8:40 a.m. April 14. School personnel reported someone entered Woodlawn Elementary School and set off fire extinguishers. A door to the building had been pried open.

Holland Rd., 8100 block, April 12. A tablet was stolen from a business.

Huntington Ave., 2300 block, April 12. A beer was stolen from a business.

Huntington Ave., 2300 block, April 15. A beer was stolen from a business.

Old Mill Rd., 4200 block, 6:15 p.m. April 16. A resident reported cash stolen from his home. A side door had been forced open.

Popkins Ln., 2800 block, 4:45 p.m. April 15. A resident reported several items stolen from the home, including collectible trading cards. A window had been forced open.

Richmond Hwy., 8700 block, 1:05 a.m. April 13. An officer checking the shopping center saw two individuals run away. A business was entered by force.

Richmond Hwy., 7500 block, 6:20 a.m. April 13. An employee reported cash and cigarettes stolen from a business. A rear door had been forced open.

ASSAULTS

Southgate Sq., 2200 block, 1 a.m. April 11. A 26-year-old man was stabbed by someone known to him, who then fled. The man was treated at a hospital for injuries that were not life threatening. A 18-year-old Reston man was charged with malicious wounding and gang participation.

ROBBERIES

North Shore Dr., 11600 block, 10:30 p.m. April 15. Three juveniles approached a 23-year-old man who was walking home, robbed him of cash and groceries and fled.

Castle Rock Square, 2200 block, 7 a.m. April 15. An employee reported a vacant unit had been entered. A window had been forced open.

Centreville Rd., 2500 block, April 15. A beer was stolen from a business.

Braeburn Dr., 4600 block, April 12. A checkbook was stolen from a residence.

Commons Dr., 4700 block, 3 p.m. April 17. A resident reported cash stolen from the apartment.

Jomar Dr., 9500 block, April 17. An air compressor was stolen from a residence.

University Dr., 3500 block, April 16. Two women were arguing, and a woman began kicking and punching the other. A woman was arrested.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Chain Bridge Rd., 4100 block, April 11. An individual granted permission to write bonds issued one, then used the proceeds for personal use.

Fairfax Blvd., 11010 block, April 11. An employee reported that on two occasions his credit cards had been taken while he was at work and purchases had been made.

Layton Hall Dr., 10300 block, April 10. A bike was stolen from a bike rack in an apartment complex.

Main St., 9600 block, April 17. A wallet containing cash, identification and credit cards was stolen after a man left it on the checkout counter while making a purchase. Several credit cards were used to make unauthorized purchases.

Main St., 10200 block, April 15. A check card was stolen from an unlocked locker and used to make unauthorized transactions.

Main St., 10700 block, April 10. About 250 feet of copper pipe was stolen from air conditioning units.

Shelly Krasnow Ln., 9500 block, April 12. A man’s credit card was used to make numerous unauthorized charges.

MOTOR VEHICLE THEFTS

Fairfax Blvd., 11070 block, April 12. A Volkswagen GTI was stolen from the parking lot of the car owner’s place of employment.

VANDALISM

Spring Lake Terr., 10100 block, April 13. A vehicle sustained a broken window, scratched paint and a damaged mirror.

N. West St., 100 block, April 8. Police were called to a location for a panhandling complaint and arrested a male for an outstanding warrant from Alexandria for indecent exposure.

Druid Hill Rd. at Beulah Rd., 10:30 a.m. April 12. A woman was walking in the area and heard what she suspected was a jogger approaching from the rear. An individual grabbed her and attempted to grope her. The woman screamed and attempted to fight off the individual, who fled.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Beulah Rd., 600 block, 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. April 8. A resident reported that he checked his bank statement and discovered a large sum of money had been transferred from his account.

Mashie Dr.,500 block, noon Nov. 1, 2012, to 6:30 p.m. April 17. A resident reported that she discovered what appeared to be pry marks on a rear door to the residence. No entry was made.

Niblick Dr., 200 block, noon March 27. A resident reported that one of his checks had been cashed at Navy Federal Credit Union.

Nutley St., 300 block, 9:45 a.m. Oct. 21, 2012, to 7:44 p.pm. April 11. An employee of First Baptist Church of Vienna reported that an individual had been squatting in a residence owned by the church.
