Fair Oaks Shopping Center, 11900 block. Cash was stolen from a business.

Fair Oaks Shopping Center, 8 p.m. June 10. Three men entered a jewelry store, smashed a glass case and took jewelry.

Government Center Pkwy., 12000 block, noon to 5 p.m. June 9. Money was taken from a cash box at the Celebrate Fairfax festival. A 25-year-old festival volunteer from Chantilly was charged with embezzlement. The money was recovered.

James Swart Cir., 11200 block. Liquor was stolen from a business.

Jermantown Rd., 3300 block. Cash was stolen from a residence.

Lee Hwy., 11100 block. A purse was stolen from a business.

Lee Hwy., 12100 block, 2:35 a.m. June 9. A window of a residence was smashed. Nothing was reported missing. A 20-year-old Burke man was charged with burglary.

Longford Ct., 9900 block. A driver’s license was stolen from a business.

Misty Creek Lane, 12700 block. A cellphone was stolen from a residence.

PEEPING TOM INCIDENTS

Clermont Dr., 5500 block, 12:05 a.m. June 7. A resident awoke and saw a man looking into the resident’s window. The man fled.

ASSAULTS

Aspenpark Ct., 9100 block, noon June 12. A girl heard a popping sound and felt pain on her finger. It appeared that she had been struck with a BB.

Franconia Rd., 3800 block, 4:30 p.m. June 9. A group of men were watching TV when one punched a 53-year-old man. The assailant grabbed a kitchen knife and cut the 53-year-old. Another man who attempted to subdue the assailant was also cut. A 58-year-old Alexandria man was charged with malicious wounding.

Grange Lane, 6500 block, 2:25 a.m. June 12. Police, responding to a report of a domestic dispute, found a pit bull biting a man. Police used a stun device on the dog, and it ran away. A 39-year-old Alexandria man was charged with domestic assault and possession of PCP. The dog was captured the next morning.

Fort Dr. and North Kings Hwy., 6:05 p.m. June 11. A man grabbed a woman’s buttocks, then fled.

INDECENT EXPOSURE

Fairhaven Ave., 2400 block, 6:30 p.m. June 11. A woman said a man had exposed himself while she was walking her dog. An 18-year-old Alexandria man was arrested and charged with indecent exposure.

ROBBERIES

Harrison Lane, 7200 block, 9:50 p.m. June 8. Three juveniles struck a 21-year-old man and robbed him of his cellphone and wallet. A 17-year-old Alexandria girl was charged with robbery and illegal possession of alcohol.

Southgate Dr., 3300 block, 10 p.m. June 12. Four men accosted a man and a woman walking in the area. One grabbed the male pedestrian, another man showed a gun and the other two men grabbed the woman. They assaulted the woman and demanded her property. She screamed, and they fled.

Old Lee Hwy., 3900 block, 10:28 p.m. June 8. A male accosted a man and followed him to a fast-food restaurant and into a restroom, where he attempted to rob him of his wallet and cellphone. The male fled when an employee entered the restroom.

Fairfax Blvd., 10000 block, 3:28 p.m. June 8. A male and a female filled a shopping cart with merchandise at a pharmacy and left.

Fairfax Blvd., 10900 block, May 30. A person’s credit card number was used to make an authorized purchase at a pharmacy.

Lyndhurst Dr., 3800 block, 7 p.m. June 6 to 7:30 p.m. June 7. Rear hubcaps were stolen from a vehicle.

Main St., 9600 block, June 3 to June 5. A California resident said his credit card number was used to make unauthorized purchases at Fairfax City businesses.

Main St., 10300 block, June 4. A wallet containing credit and debit cards was left at a store and stolen. The cards were used to make purchases.

Main St., 10300 block, June 7. A Kentucky resident said his credit card number was used to make an unauthorized purchase at a Fairfax City store.

Main St., 10500 block, 4 p.m. June 2 to 7 a.m. June 3. Food products were stolen from a storeroom at a deli.

Old Lee Hwy., 3200 block, 11:58 a.m. June 4. A man and a woman were observed concealing merchandise at a store. They were detained when they attempted to leave. A 50-year-old woman and a 26-year-old man were charged with concealment of merchandise.

Ellison St., 900 block, June 4. A person threatened an acquaintance with a knife.

Wilson Blvd., 6700 block, June 8. Police, investigating a report of a fight, detained a man who had fled during the investigation. A 31-year-old Vienna man was charged with assault, disorderly conduct, obstruction of justice and resisting arrest.

Broad St. W., 1200 block, May 14 and May 16. Merchandise was stolen from a liquor store.

Leesburg Pike, 7100 block, June 8. An iPhone was stolen from a high school stadium.

Park St. and Tapawingo Rd. SE, 6:25 p.m. June 8. A woman reported that she and the girlfriend of her ex-boyfriend got into a physical altercation. The woman was treated at a local hospital for several injuries. The incident is under investigation.

Maple Ave. E., 200 block, 6 p.m. June 2 to 7 a.m. June 3. Used motor oil was stolen from storage tanks at a business.

Patrick St. SW, 100 block, 10:27 p.m. June 12 to 6:15 a.m. June 13. Tools were stolen from an unlocked work van.

Tazwell Rd. SW, 600 block, 5:07 p.m. June 13. Construction workers plugged an extension cord into a person’s outside power outlet while working on a house across the street.

VANDALISM

Creek Crossing Rd. and Woodnor Dr. NE, 9:32 p.m. June 8. An egg was thrown and struck a moving vehicle. Police could not locate the person responsible.

Branch Rd. SE, 100 block, 12:35 p.m. June 12. A vehicle was scratched with a sharp object.

Hillcrest Dr. SW, 1000 block, 1 a.m. June 9. The front window of an occupied residence was shattered by a rock.

Park St. NE, 100 block, 4:38 to 8:06 p.m. June 12. The driver’s side of a vehicle was scratched with a sharp object.
