SEXUAL ASSAULTS

George Mason University campus area, 1:10 a.m. March 18. A woman was sexually assaulted. An investigation was ongoing.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Aristotle Dr., 11300 block. A Glock G26 handgun was stolen from a business.

Centreville Rd., 3000 block. Cartons of cigarettes were stolen from a business.

Fair Oaks Shopping Center, 11700 block. A license plate was stolen from a vehicle.

Majestic Pine Lane, 3500 block. A license plate was stolen from a vehicle.

Stoneledge Ct., 11300 block. Responding to a report of a loud party, police arrested three dozen people at a residence. The adults involved were charged with unlawful entry.

White Birch Ct., 3000 block. A GPS was stolen from a vehicle.

MOTOR VEHICLE THEFTS

Legato Rd., 4100 block. A 1998 Ford Econoline van was stolen.

Monument Dr., 12100 block. A 2007 Suzuki GSXR 1000 motorcycle was stolen.

VANDALISM

Deer Hollow Way, 2900 block, 9:40 a.m. March 16. Words were spray-painted on a building.

FRANCONIA DISTRICT

SEXUAL ASSAULTS

Hanover Ave. and Monticello Blvd., 3:30 p.m. March 20. Two men followed a pedestrian a short distance, then groped her. The assailants fled when she screamed.

PEEPING TOM INCIDENTS

Mary Caroline Cir., 6900 block. A man seen looking into a window at a residence fled when confronted.

ASSAULTS

Clinton Rd., 5100 block, 8:40 a.m. March 14. A man chased down a man, then attacked him. A 22-year-old Alexandria man was charged with abduction and assault.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Bellington Ct.,7700 block. 10:35 p.m. March 15. A laptop computer was stolen from a residence entered by forcing a rear window.

Edsall Rd., 6700 block, 4:25 a.m. March 16. A vehicle was entered in a driveway at a residence. An 18-year-old Alexandria man was charged with grand larceny, providing false identity and contributing to the delinquency of a minor. A 16-year-old male also was charged.

Franconia Rd., 6100 block. An electronic device was stolen from a vehicle.

Kingstowne Blvd., 5700 block. Jeans were stolen from a business.

Loisdale Rd., 7900 block. Copper cable was stolen from a business.

Roxann Rd., 7100 block. License plates were stolen from a vehicle.

Walkers Croft Way, 6200 block. Newspapers were stolen from a residence.

ASSAULTS

Arlington Blvd. and Westmoreland Rd., 1:45 a.m. March 14. A man being arrested on public drunkenness, bit a police officer. A 23-year-old Falls Church man was charged with assault on a police officer, resisting arrest and public drunkenness.

ROBBERIES

Justine Dr., 4000 block, 4 p.m. March 14. During a transaction for a cellphone that had been arranged online, two men threatened a man and robbed him of cash.

Manitoba Dr., 4900 block, 10 p.m. March 14. Three men robbed a man of cash at gunpoint. Before fleeing on foot, the men revealed that the gun was a toy.

Apex Cir., 3200 block. Tools were stolen from a vehicle.

Arlington Blvd., 7400 block. A cellphone was stolen from a library.

Bellview Dr., 6000 block. A scooter was stolen from a residence.

Huntington Ave., 2300 block, 7:35 p.m. March 20. A customer purchasing a cigar threw coins in the face of a clerk who had asked for identification.

ROBBERIES

Richmond Hwy., 6700 block, 6:15 p.m. March 19. A male asked to show identification threatened a clerk and robbed a business of cigarettes.

Richmond Hwy., 6800 block, 10:45 a.m. March 19. A man who implied that he had a weapon robbed a business of cigarettes.

Huntington Ave., 2300 block. Beer was stolen from a business.

Leesburg Pike, 10800 block, 10:15 p.m. March 20. A man and a woman went to a man’s house to purchase a TV, then threatened the man and tied him up, and robbed the premises of property.

Bell Dr., 9500 block, 1:15 p.m. March 19. Jewelry was stolen from a residence entered by forcing a door.

Olde Georgetown Ct., 800 block. 3:40 a.m. March 17. An attempt was made to enter a residence by forcing a window. The intruder fled empty-handed when confronted.

Fairfax Blvd., 10300 block, 5:34 p.m. March 10. Merchandise was stolen from a store. A 20-year-old Burke man was charged with petty larceny.

Fairfax Blvd., 10600 block, 10 p.m. March 14 to 6 a.m. March 15. Copper piping was stolen from an HVAC unit at a high school.

Fairfax Blvd., 9400 block, 1:32 p.m. March 18. A female took a computer from a store without paying for it. An investigation was ongoing.

Fairfax Sq., 9800 block, 9 p.m. March 11. Two bottles of prescription medication were stolen from an apartment.

University Dr. and North St., 1:53 p.m. March 15. A man snatched a wallet from the hand of a woman getting out of a vehicle.

MOTOR VEHICLE THEFTS

North and Main streets, 8:54 p.m. March 18. During a traffic stop of a 1997 Toyota Camry, it was determined that the vehicle had been reported stolen in Fairfax County. An 18-year-old Alexandria man was charged with possession of stolen property, possession of fake identification, driving without an operator’s license and a moving violation.

VANDALISM

Fairfax Blvd., 10900 block, 5:30 to 11:41 p.m. March 15. A vehicle hood was damaged by cake icing. Graffiti were written on the vehicle.

Jones St., 10800 block, 4 to 7 p.m. March 8. A vehicle’s tire was damaged by a large screw.

Westmore Dr., 11000 block, 11:19 a.m. March 13. An air valve was snapped off a tire on a vehicle in a parking lot.

W&OD Trail and Talahi Rd. SE, 5:05 p.m. March 19. A jogger passed two males sitting on a bench and noticed that there were bicycles nearby. A short time later a male on a bicycle groped her from behind, then fled with another male cyclist.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Lawyers Rd. NW, 300 block, noon March 12. A man tried to exchange two counterfeit $100 bills at a bank.

Patrick St. SE, 100 block, 1:15 a.m. March 18. A man in a parking lot asked a man for cash, then followed him inside a residence and asked again. When refused, he left the premises empty-handed. A short time later, a 45-year-old Vienna man was arrested on charges that included entering property with intent to damage.
