Former Glenkirk Elementary PTO treasurer charged with embezzlement

The treasurer of a Prince William County school’s Parent Teacher Organization has been accused of stealing funds she was charged with safeguarding, according to a police department news release.

Police arrested Sabrina Ann Corra-Reynolds, 35, of the 16000 block of Sheringham Way in Gainesville, for allegedly stealing $2,200 from Glenkirk Elementary School’s PTO funds between December and April. The volunteer organization’s funds are not school funds, but are generated through donations and fundraisers, according to police.
